Well I finally decided on my shoes and ordered them which are the Ruby Shoo Clara shoes in Black and they arrived today.
The problem is I have quite narrow feet and though the are a perfect fit in length (I am a 7), they are a bit loose around the side heel.
I have never worn shoes like these before (see the strappy shoes at the bottom of my shoes photos), so I am not sure is this normal and if not is there anything I can do about it?

There are inserts that you can purchase to help the shoe fit better. I have to use them in my heels all the time & they really are a lifesaver. Will leave a link on your wall. x

If you're worried about them slipping about and being uncomfortable, just stuff some tissue in the heel hun, or you could probably get some kind of gel pads to fit in them, stop them moving too much xxx

I do love my fellers suggestion though of put some thick socks on with them
