What are you guys all doing for your something borrowed??
I have my something old (late grandmother's locket)
    Something New (my dress)
    Something blue (my gareter)
I'm really struggling for the something borrowed though i'm even getting to desperate stages and thinking that I could say that the hair pins the hairdresser is using to put my hair up are borrowed but don't know if thats maybe a wee bit extreme. Could really do with some ideas??xx

thats what I am doing, borrowing one of my mums embrodiered hankies to cover the borrowed part. But you could also borrow a penny from someone to bring you luck as well as being borrowed. x

My sister is a florist and had to do a lot of research into wedding traditions to pass her exams she told me that "The wedding handkerchief" is often kept and passed down from mother to daughter. Early farmers thought a bride's wedding day tears were lucky and brought rains for their crops (which is all a bit blah blah yawn) but later on was change to:- a crying bride meant that she'd never shed another tear throughtout her marriage (this bit I like)

old Irish tradition is to put the shiny penny/sixpence in your shoe for luck as an added extra
borrow an anklet off a friend, it will be under your dress so no one will see it

see a penny pick it up and all day you have good luck, pass it on that very day and your luck is sure to stay... now you just have to ask all your friends and family to look out for a dropped penny (the lucky penny) needs to be put away for you to carry on your wedding day (borrowed) you must then pass it back!! if that doesn't happen, can you borrow a piece of ribbon for your flowers then give it back??? hope you find something xx

I need something borrowed too :-( The rest is nailed! My sister has offered her garter, but I'm not sure I like that idea!
