ladies i really need some advise, my hair and make up lady is a friend of mine, not know each other long but she lives round the corner and also has 2 autistic children, so we go to each other for advise. To say she is a bit scatty is an understatement. she started hair dressing again about 6 months ago and i asked her if she will do my hair and girls hair for the day, which she agreed to. the problem is she quite often doesn't turn up or contact me for hair cuts, have had the girls hair trial booked for today for the last 2 months and she text at lunchtime saying she couldn't make it, would tomorrow be ok. I text back saying yes what time but have heard nothing back.
when i had my hair and make up trial she was supposed to come at 9.30, she arrived at 11.30. i am so worried now but really dont want to upset her as she is invited to the evening reception.
    what would you do?

Could you chat to her and ask why she has been late and does not contact you? I realise she is a friend so I can see why you would not want to upset her but if there is any chance she might let you down on your wedding day you have to go elsewhere. Could you not say you feel you are asking her to do too much with her situation so you would rather her just be a guest and enjoy the day?

See what happens tomorrow then and if she is on time you might just have to stop worrying about it but keep your fingers crossed for the day!
