hello. im having some sort of melt down. im getting married Saturday and i have just tried my dress on again to see how i feel. i loved it at the start but now i feel its too big i feel like i should be in big fat gypsy weddings i cant even get threw a door!! and this is before i add an underskirt!!!
im really panicking!!! i feel i look silly! does all brides to be feel like this and worry they look silly or am i the only one?

I did kind of thought my dress was to big for my age (35 yrs) but after some reassuring I knew I was being silly!! & it was prefect 4 me :0)
Ur dress is lovely and to me doesn't look that big at all & u look very lovely in it & I'm sure u will look stunning & beautiful on the day x

I think it's fine hun, it's a lovely dress :-) I think everyone tends to panic a bit, it's the biggest day of your life and you want to make sure you'll be happy and comfortable with everything xxx

im 30 and a mum of five,
iv just lost 5 stone so im very self conscious, i was shaking in these pics, i got this kind of dress as its hipless and i have wide hips because im 5ft tall,

As the others have said the nerves are normal. If you weren't worrying about this is would be something else, so rest assured there's nothing wrong with your dress... just normal average run of the mill wedding nerves.

That dress looks stunning on you. You've done fantastically well with your weight loss, and you should be super confident, cos you look amazing. I think all brides get some kind of jitters, and this is yours. There's only 5 days to go so make sure you relax and take it easy so you're at your best on the day (although I doubt any bride is able to do that in the week beforehand).

aww thank you everyone :-) i feel so much better now i think your all right, i had a talk to my partner, i didnt say too much i just said i dont feel right in my dress and feel silly,
he said its because iv never worn a wedding dress before and everything will be fine and he couldnt care if i wore a black bag as long as i marry him he will be the happiest hes ever been :-)
i think hes trying to get in my good books as iv banned him from ...... till the wedding night. lol xxx

I think the dress isn't that big at all, my dress is about the same size as yours round the bottom, don't worry! Think it's those wedding nerves starting to kick in...you'll feel gorgeous on the day and ur h2b will think you look stunning xx

You look beautiful in your dress hun. Does it have underskirt on in the pics? If it doesn't and it feels big on the day - don't wear one, coz it looks stunning as it is in the pics x
I also have a big dress - and it feels a bit like a guilty pleasure. Like I shouldn't really like it but I do.

I also lost 5 stone quickly a few years ago - and now am a consultant for the company - it's usual if you lost it quickly for your head to take a while to catch up with your body and realise how much smaller and stunning you actually are x

Edit: and just had to add - 5 kids and you look like that! you go girl - walk tall and proud - well done

i totally agree with everyone the dress is beautiful but more to the point you are beautiful in it!! if i had lost as much as you i would be wearing something to guarantee people looked at me too!!! You should be very proud of yourself and what better way to show it off than to be a princess for the biggest day of your life!!! hope you have a fantastic day!! not long and this is deffo just jitters!! you look lovely

you look amazing and you will the underskirt to stop you tripping over your dress, and doors are meant to be open double for brides anyway :-P

aww thank you all your all amazing, i logged onto here while drinking my diet shake "i come off the diet fri" and logged onto these replies and i am smiling from ear to ear my partner asked me why im smiling at the computer screen lol i feel much better today and feel me again, we are off to our wedding rehearsal in a few hours eek bit nervous for that, thank you all again :-) xxx

I really love the way your dress floats around the bottom, it looks so beautiful, its like mist on water. I really love it! Never seen a dress that sits so beautifully around the bottom like that!

embrace the fact you have lost all that weight - the dress looks stunning. its completely natural to feel self conscious, not sure any of us would wear something like that day to day so enjoy the princess moment and I bet you wont want to take it off at the end of the night !!
