I'd suggest you have a read through of all the reviews on this thread, there's a lot of them. And if you need to reference to a link they are all on my nice clean wall ;) But over all, no one seems to have been severely let down from what I can see. Especially if you are ordering from she who must not be named

Hello ladies...

I have fell in love with a china dress on the bay & it is from 2009 so hunting to find out the original dress name or number has been a nightmare although I found the designers name but not the dress number just to find out how much it would be for the original out of sheer noseyness :-)

I am slightly worried about buying off the bay from china because I hear people get bribed to leave good feedback so I checked out this thread & came across 'she who can not be named' - wow very impressive I must say!

I could buy the same dress off the bay for say £90 & then be unlucky enough to have to pay customs at £80 & end up with a pants dress for £170 or just risk it & hope I get away with only paying £90 altogether!

But I would rather pay £175 & know by the reviews it will be fab so I am definitely going with 'she who can not be named' & I will email her to see if she can do the dress :-)

I would have considered second hand but my dress is from 2009 so not much chance of finding it so only really have the option of having it made! x

I didn't buy my dress from China but I bought it from an online company in Cheshire and I am sooo happy with it. I asked them to make a dress like one I had seen in a magazine and it is a perfect match and saved over £300! x

Horrible to read about some of the horror stories of buying from China, must be so upsetting when you see the dress, but I suppose sometimes you get what you pay for! x

i ordered a bridesmaid dress from a china seller on the bay. i ordered one just to see the quality and was really impressed. i ended up ordering in a slightly different colour and they're sizing seems a size too small, but really impressed
