I have very fine hair and am struggling to find styles online that I think would actually work - anyone else in the same position and found a style that works, or just have any ideas?? My hair's about 3 inches below the shoulder and I'm thinking an up-do...help! xx

I also have very fine hair & it's soooo annoying! My hair sounds about the same length as yours & I'm thinking possibly half up, half down, with curls? & LOTS of hairspray & grips!! xx

It really is - can't do anything with it that lasts! I think you're definitely on to something with curls and tons of spray!! xx

There's a picture on my profile of hair in a bow & I LOVE bows & would love that but I'm not sure my hair would hold!! My cousin is a hairdresser & she's trimming/colouring my hair tomorrow so I might ask her if she can have a go & see! xx

yeah i love those to think will look good with my hair comb and defiantly going with my side fringe down as i hate the way i look with my hair all scrapped back

I had my hair curled for my sisters wedding and it needed respraying less than an hour after it was styled! It just about held after that though... xx

Same here, I definitely need a fringe/loose hair around my face, looks awful all tied back xx

Same here too! I feel like a skank with my hair tied back & off my face, I don't know why but I have to have hair dangling down!! I saw my cousin today, she didn't try the bow but she has like a hairdresser doll's head thing so she can practise & she said she will have a go. I also said about curls not holding fine hair etc & she says she has some fab hairspray that she gets from her suppliers & she said that will definitely hold, it's only £5 for a huge can of it & she said it's so good that if you don't wash your hair for 2 days, you're hair is still in place from the spray! I can find out where it's from & what it's called if you like? xx

I've fine hair too. My hairdresser did the curls with the straighteners (not for wedding but last time it was cut) and they were still there the following day and that was without lots of spray.. maybe give it a go with straighteners?
If I do it my self there's a fab hairspray that's in a yellow can called 'it has to be the stuff you use to stick things with' - it's brill

It depends on what veil and tiara you are going for, if any.
Got a trial next week and she said to have a look at ideas but have no idea what would go with a side hair band and cathedral veil and what would suit me. I like some styles but may not work. I am just going to have a chat with her and go from there.
