Hi, I want to get crystal hair pins, just those small ones to dot around your hair. What's the difference between the hair pins and the hair spirals? Is one better for certain type of hair, do they both stay in equally well? Thanks! xx

iv no idea can u ask ur hairdresser? i would assume spirals will grip more if u have super soft hair?

I agree, I would speak to your hairdresser to see what ones will grip your best as everyone's hair is diff....Im using pins tho as I think will go better with the design I want xx

I think the spirals are easier to dot around randomly in your hair. they stay in really well.I dont get on well with hair pins. x

I think it depends how you are wearing your hair. I'm having mine all up, and the hair person said that pins would be better as they are all going in the bun thing.

I think the hair pins are to help hold sertain styles in your hair, you wouldn't be able to put them in if you have a do thats down. But if you do have a down do, then the spirals will do in your hair if that what your wanting. They could also go in too if you have it up.

Cool, thanks everyone. I'm having my hair up but I have very fine hair so there's not very much of it. Will have a chat with hairdresser before ordering. The pins seem quite long, they might stick out the other side! xx
