I know there's loads of topics on this but none have been helpful as I have really short hair, pixie cut short (pic on profile). Sorry for the ton of questions and making you google everything lol
I know ideally I want to wear a tiara. (Which is odd cause I never thought I would). But I'm not sure if it's going to look too plain but if I add stuff to it will it look too much?
A long veil I think is out of the question. If you google image "veils for short hair" the third picture that comes up is of a girl with short hair like mine with a long veil and I think it looks a bit odd, like it's not supposed to be there. Even higher up on the head would just look silly in my opinion.
A birdcage veil looks worlds better for short hair but it may be a bit too vintage looking for my otherwise pretty traditional wedding outfit. Would it look weird to wear a reverse birdcage? and if not would it look better attached to my tiara or with a fascinater? Or would that look too much with a tiara? I might just need to try it out, in which case, can anyone find me a birdcage veil that doesn't cost £50+ because I'm not paying that much for netting lol. Maybe someone knows somewhere just to get that sort of netting and I can see what I can do with it?
The other option I'm considering is if you google image "convertible blusher/headband" the first picture that comes up. But I also wonder if this sort of thing would look too much with a tiara?
Help and opinions greatly appreciated! If anyone's got any ideas I've not considered I would love to hear those too!

Side tiaras would look lovely, alr if not then more of a low tiara, a bit like a headband but more tiara like. As for veils, these would look fine but I'd wear it high and have it about waist length - they don't look silly with short hair, most brides tend to wear their hair up for their wedding and still wear a veil so it would be exactly the same!

You make a good point! I just don't think I like the way longer veils look.

You go to a shop and try some on with a veil, they look completely different on - I always thought I'd want a short mid-back one, now I'm getting one to my fingertips! You don't have to buy from that shop but try them on anyway - and if you can then try with your dress (but I'd recommend doing this when the dress is in your size, as if the sample isn't then the look can be completely different :-)

I was all set for a veil, i wanted a nice one with crystals or pearls quite long but not too long. the reason being I ALWAYS regretted not keeping my veil when i first got married so i could pass down to my girls so i thought i MUST have a veil!
went to try some on and WOW!!! They didnt look or feel right on me and i tried LOADS!!!! I tried more veils on then i did dresses lol so my advice is try some on hunni see how they look how they feel how YOU feel then decide what style if any you want! Most bridal shops have most styles and lengths as well as tiaras side tiars and hair combs so jst go in and have a look

im wearing a headband rather than a tiara, as i also have short hair bit longer than yours and have paid £5 for a veil (short one) im not going all out on a veil as i wont be wearing it that long. x

Looks like I'll have to go try some on then! :) You make a good point hails, I might not like the look of some veils but before making a decision I should try some out as they could look completely different to what I think they will.
In fact that's how I decided I wanted a tiara, tried one on on a whim and decided I liked how it looked on me after all!

Tried some on today, really difficult to get it to stay in my hair! But it's okay cause I think I looked silly anyway. Might just stick with tiara or find another head piece to try out!
