I went to a local bridal shop this morning with OH and MIL2B to look at dresses. I tried on 4 and found 1 that I really like. It's ivory and has wide straps. :) I didn't think I would like light coloured dresses but we all thought they looked great on me, especially with a veil and shoes to match!
I have nearly two years until our big day but I'm really excited now about dresses and it's great to know what style and colour I like.

It's so exciting trying on all the different dress and styles! I'd say a fair few of us on here have chosen a dress that they originally wouldn't have gone for, so it's not surprising to hear you say that. It's never too early to start trying them all on...oh how I miss those days LOL! Hx

You'll love it! I got a bit hot and bothered towards the end but then it has been humid today. I was dead against veils until this afternoon but seeing one on my head with the dress has changed my mind!

I love dress shopping. I chose the first dress i tried one.. I am not to sure of veils still really undecided. But got to make my mind up by the end of the week. Its teh last chance to order one xx
I love trying the dresses on too. Have my second dress shopping booked in for this weekend, can't wait it's so much fun, even though I've sort of fallen in love with a dress already ;o)

aww i miss going dress shopping i didn go to many as i wasnt going to buy from a shop but when i did i knew what dress i wanted!! but make teh most of it and have fun trying on all the beautiful dresses on xx
