The my firsts choice venue is offering a wedding package which includes:
exclusive use of the hotel on the day with guests receiving 60% discount on any rooms they book
Use of a guest suite for myself and my maids the night before the wedding
The honeymoon suite the night of the wedding
Use of tablecloths and chair covers(with bow in your choice of colour)
Placenames, table plan etc.... in a stationary pattern of your choice (from a selection)
Centrepieces (from a selection)
professional toastmaster
silver cake slice (to keep) & cake stand
3 course wedding breakfast & drinks package for 80 guests (menu can be chosen from a selection or put together with the help of their head chef)
tea,coffee and pastries for day guests
hot & cold evening buffet for 80 guests
DJ
all for £4995....additional day guests £65 and additional evening guests £16.20

This is the best package we have found so far and i absolutely adore the venue....its on the banks of a river with gorgeous grounds for photographs!

The only problem is i have a few concerns about the decorations.....obviously most of them are included in the package but what if i dont like the centrepieces? and i would quite like my seating plan etc. to match my invitations.....if i dont want to use some of the things they've included in the package do you think i would be able to ask for a little extra money off or should i just suck it up and pay the extra. Also whilst im very happy they provide a DJ.....i would like to be sure they understand what we want - can i ask to meet them beforehand?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated because its a really popular vanue and so even though im not getting married til july '13 we need to get in there now before its too late!!!

I'd say go for it, you can do your own centre pieces and stationary etc. Our venue includes stationary but we're doing our own. Great price by the wat. xxx

why dont you ask to see the choices that they would give u in regards to decoration and invites etc. im sure they have thought about peoples themes and have matching things.
but yeh i think thats a wicked deal especially if you love the venue so much, and like NHR and Linzi say if you dont like it, do your own, your still gettin an amazing deal even if you dont use their stationary

ask for discount off if you don't use all the things in the package, if you don't ask, you don't get! its worth a try x

Sometimes they are flexible with things, not everyone's going to want everything in the package they offer, so go ahead and ask your questions. Even if you think its a silly question, I would ask it cos its your day so you want it all to be just how you want it x

PS if it is like my venue who are doing my menus then they are matching things to my colour scheme so it should be good regardless and cheap to match if you do go with your own! xxx
