Hi ladies just wondering what gift 'if anything' you are planning to get your h2b on your wedding day, would love to get my husband something but as moneys tight im struggling to find something suitable thats not costly!! Ideas would be much appreciated, thanks x

If you mean in the morning before the ceremony, I know a lot of people are doing boudoir photoshoots and having a little album sent over via the best man. If thats a bit pricy, what about getting a close friend to take some "tasteful" pics and send one over in a frame, or with a "see you at the altar" type note?
If its for during the speeches etc, does he have a favourite football or rugby team? A lot of the ladies are writing off for a signed card from their teams x

ive got a signed photo of jenson button for h2b :) i know he'll love it as hes followed JB from the start! also as they didnt use my SAE and sent it back to me, im using it to hopefully get something from the topgear boys too. Best thing is all it costs is a couple of stamps and envelopes :) Im also going to get a drinking glass of some sort (something decorative) and have it engraved with our names and wedding date, as H2B collects unusual glasses He'll have a poem and some little silly bits and pieces too

Ooh good question... dont know what to get him! Photo's of me arent my style, may have to steal the football team idea as he'd love something from his team.
I might get him a nice watch, but Id better get saving now as he doesnt get watches often but when he does they're fancy ones - no better time to get one than his wedding day is there? x
ive started a goodie box for him to open on the morning, it will have his personalised boxers, and "so you dont get cold feet" socks, his fave aftershave, x box controller cufflinks and some jelly tots (he loves them!) just going to think of some other silly goodies for him, i have also got a signed letter of congratulations from LFC to give to him at the speaches. x
so little time, so much to do!

Well my H2B is full on into his cars and keeps joking about having a lamborghini to take him to the wedding - so I'm making our cake topper out of fimo clay and it's going to be figures of us with a lambo! Already started making it and it's looking fab! I've already decided I want to say a few words when everyone else does their speeches so I'm going to mention it then in a jokey way - can't wait to see his face!

In all honesty H2B 'hates' football. Hes an avid downhill mountainbiking fan so would be a nice idea to get in contact with some of the pros and see what they could fix me up with but what exactly would i put in a letter. If anyone could possibly message me some advice i would be extremely gratefull. Thanks Ladies x

Have arranged for mine to go on a ride of his fave vintage bike for a couple of days - but that is more of a pre-wedding/engagement thing.
As for a day of gift (which I would really like to do) have been struggling tbh, he has smegloads of cufflinks/rings/jewellery already, more leathers than the cupboards can handle lol and am simply struggling to locate something for him. GAH! Hehehe.

My h2b said to me that he'd love a boudoir shoot of me... until I pointed out that someone has to take those photos. Then he was all "but I'm the only one who gets to see you in your undies!" Bless him! I wouldn't have done it anyway- I have way too many issues about my body.
So my gift is this: When I was younger, I was in the habit of writing letters to people if there was something I wanted to say but couldn't say to their face. Then I'd put them away in a folder. Back when we'd been together for about four months, we spent a whole day at my place watching DVDs and, for lack of a more sophisticated expression, making out. After I walked him to the station so he could go home, I missed him so much that I wrote a letter. And, in letting the words flow, I said that if he rang me ring now and proposed, I would say yes. And I knew then that it was the truth and I would one day marry him. So I'm going to dig out that letter and give it to him as a wedding gift. It's personal, heartfelt, rather sappy and, the best part, it doesn't cost a penny.

Ive posted links on walls to the playstation cufflinks, ive popped it on my wall too in case anyone else wants itv :-) I found some funky cufflinks on etsy last night, they look like xbox games or playstation games (she can do any) and she'll make it up to look like whatever game you want providing you give her a pic of the cover art. So may get forza 3 xbox game cufflinks and they're £13.95 plus p and p. which isnt too bad. Link to those on my wall too.
I got a bargain today, was having a nose around the shops not looking for anything in particular and found a nice glass suitable to be engraved for 29p in the rspca charity shop. popped into the engravers and he said its perfect for engraving and will only cost £6.50 for the engraving. Not getting it done just yet as our date isnt set in stone, but will get "Kirsty & Dai 15.05.2012 x" put on it a bit nearer the time
