My sister can be like that sometimes... she's the same except her boyfriend DIDN'T stick around. One of the first things she said to me after having baby was 'You couldn't have done it' like it was some kind of competition or something!
She knows I'd love to start a family with Peter but we want to wait a little bit first and be married and secure first, so she's lording it. Sounds like your sister is doing the same, and it does sound like she wishes she had what YOU have.
