Spent the morning in the nativity project. I wasn't initially did to be in but someone else dropped out. I also spent about an hour looking after our twin donkeys. I wasn't needed this afternoon so I went home after lunch and did my present wrapping. I was back later on to watch the opera that's running alongside the nativity, Amahl and the Night Visitors. It was very well done for a community project. Next year I'll probably sing in the chorus, but it would have been too much this year.

Morning folks....

Spent the majority of my evening finishing off the wrapping. It's done now so that's good.

I realised I could do with a few selection boxes for my friends kids but I can pick them up tonight for a little shop. I'm not battling with supermarkets now.

On Xmas eve, OH could do with getting his nieces and nephews selection boxes too but that means another 6!! He can sort that. I'm done with Xmas shopping now lol

2 more days at work and then that's it til the 4th. I'm soooo ready

Still wondering if it is worth trying to get into town with the awful IOW drivers or just hope on a boat and go to Southampton today. At least then it will be no parking and I won't be limited to two hours.

I do love having the tree up but also glad when it comes down.

Stupid body woke up just before 5 again this morning, went for a wee and got back into bed, refusing to get up just yet on my only day off. Dozed off, got woke by hubby snoring, then managed to doze off again to get woken by his alarm clock. By then I gave up and got up. Oh and hubby did not need to get up this morning so should have turned his alarm clock off!!!!!

Called the card company and they're sending a new card and adding my points to it in the next 28 days - that was painless!

Is it just me that gets fed up of waiting on everyone else.

Sil was meant to be here at 7.50 to go to the gym and I'm still sat here waiting. Just text to ask if she's bothering as I've got loads to do whilst LO not here. I've got til 12.30 to get it all done

Morning. Awful about your cards ladies! at least you get the money back but not in time for Christmas sadly. If its widespread they will have to investigate properly.

Didn't sleep well again last night. I was too tired when I went to bed so don't feel refreshed at all. On my own in the office though so bought my Christmas CD in :)

We've got our office lunch today and Secret Santa. Our office is also being judged - each year all the offices in the building enter and are giving a theme. Ours is space. Others are Frozen, Narnia, Bah Humbug (!) I'm not there this morning, but it's beng judged and one of the guys is dressing up as Darth Vader and the others are all wearing alien masks!!

I haven'y been to get the lunch bits yet so need to do battle in the orange supermarket shortly....

Grumpy start to the day though, had to drive OH to work as he overslept and the next train was cancelled. He could have driven himself instead of making me 10 minutes late for my work, but noooo his painful hand means he can't drive.....he hasn't even tried!

I feel like I've done a days work already, this morning I cleaned the kitchen, bleached the tiles at the back of the hob, bleached the filter and cupboard doors. Need to hoover, been out and done the grocery shopping, came home, put a vegetable chilli into the slow cooker, had no chilli powder (I always use mild), hubby said there's chilli paste in there, errrrmmmmm yep extra hot! Ran down the road and got some, now just sitting down quick before getting the Hoover out and going to get the 1115 boat.

Hi all, hope you're all well and looking forward to Xmas!

Wishing the weather would make up its mind what it's going to do with itself, here, but at least I've got my Tuesdays back - not needed at the charity in the afternoons; so I finally have a chance to get on here in the week (alongside doing all my laundry and stuff, lol)!

Was invited out for work drinks yesterday evening, but wasn't feeling up to it so texted one of my colleagues to say sorry and I hoped they enjoyed the homemade cupcakes I'd dropped off that morning - I don't really do Xmas cards except for family, but I'll happily bake a few dozen cupcakes!

I must say I'm very jealous of everyone getting a Christmas break lol

Did my few family cards over the weekend - had to send recorded though as I'd put giftcards in my mum and nan's and wanted to know they'd got there, and sent a couple of photos in my dad's.

Trying to decide on lunch; might do some soup, weather's so miserable here.
