jenny, my hair is very long thick and became frizzy after having my daughter.
i use herbal essences beautiful ends shampoo and conditioner to keep the ends from splitting as i had to grow it for the day. i also use schwarzkof gliss and it contains liquid keratin and liquid silk to smooth my hair. and i also use coconut oil once or twice a month. it gives it a deep conditioning and helps prevent the frizz.
the coconut oil, i apply to my entire hair, leave it overnight and wash it out. makes my hair silky smooth and even dries quite straight too.
another tip, when u have it trimmed, be sure to ask them to thin ur hair as this helps the thickness from being so bad (especially in the heat!)
hope this helps ya and good luck with growing ur hair.
    xx

    Hiya,
i dont have very thick hair at all, but my ends tend to frizz out alot if i dont straighten them, to look after this problem i use Loreal Elvive full restore, shampoo and conditioner, then twice a week i use the loreal intense conditioning baslm, leave it on for about 5 mins and rinse well. I leave my hair to naturally dry as often as i can, and scrunch in some pantene split end serum (great for frizz)
Get regular trims and once in a while have a good tidy up of your ends....even if your trying to grow it, theres no point growing a mass of split ended frizz.
If you have to blow dry, use the directional tool on the end of your drier to dry your hair from the shaft down towards your ends, try not to just blast it.
    xxxx

hey hun...i have massive hair (boardering on afro) and i really struggle with my frizz!
I find the shampoo make from the hairdressers .... Tr es se me....... works fantastic, dont go for the one for curly hair tho, get the one that helps make it smooth.
Also...pan te ne.... do a kind of conditioning hair mask...you put it on after shampooing and conditioning and then leave it on for 5 mins and i have found that works wonders.
Vo 5 hot oil sometimes works for me but it depends on the time of year (my hair is much worse in the warmer weather)
if i find anything else hun ill let you know :-)

I use a pot of intense conditioner (one that you leave on) - it's the best I've ever used - comes from the cheap supermarket chain Al. Di.
