hello all, I've been looking at foam rose bouquets so that i can keep my flowers and cut the cost, but i haven't seen any that are right for me color etc, i was thinking about trying to make my own? has anyone done this or have any tips of how to do this?

Hey Im having foam roses for my wedding for the same reason. It was going to cost way to much for real flowers. My mums making my bouquets as shes pretty crafty and she wanted to help me out. I have to admit the mock ones shes made so far look really good! She said theyre really easy to make up! :) I have a couple of piccies in my album xx

becki they are really nice, tell your mum i said well done. :) your dress looks AMAZING too, im so scared to do them on my own just incase i mess up, how much did it cost you to make them? if you dont mind me asking and if possible could you send me the link of where you got your flowers from xx
I will let her know :D. Awww thankyou!!! She said its just a case of holding them tightly together and gradually adding in a flower, she used a tape around the stems to keep them in place. We got my flowers from a wholesale place near us but shes using another site now as they were cheaper. Ill post the link on your wall.xxx

I'm having real for me only because I've fallen in love with a design but I was going to make my bm 6 bouquets until my mum took over and made them. It does seem easy if you've got craft skills :) I'd try as you know what you want :) good luck xx

I'm having foam flowers too. I've seen samples of my flowers already and I love them!
Couldn't really have fresh as wanted roses and you can't get royal blue roses lol
Plus like you said it's something you can keep hold of, also going to put a posy onto my cousins grave :)
