How many of you brides will be doing a flower toss? It's something I've never come across, only been to 2 weddings (day time) and only a couple of others on the evening and never actually, from what I remember, seen it happen. My flowers are going tot be too pretty to toss lol

I could be wrong but I think its more of an American thing. I've never seen it at any weddings I've been to. I wont be doing it either x

I doubt I will be doing it. The majority of women there will already be married/in a relationship so don't see the point! x

I'm going to Toss mine, although in having a secondary one made for purpose that's not so heavy and no sonic screwdriver attached. Is not really a American thing, but it's gone out of fashion in the UK my aunty tossed hers 20 years ago, my cousin caught it and she was the next to be married. But I love it.

I will be tossing mine. It's an amazing tradition here in Brazil, sometimes even the groom toss a frog to the men lol So they can become a prince to someone lol
Don't think h2b will do it, but I will. I won't toss the original one, though, it will be quite heavy lol Prob a second one, made for this... :)

I didn't do it. One. Because I think we only had 3 ppl there that were single and 1 of them was male(lol) and two. We didn't have enough time to factor one in and I didn't want to ruin my real flowers x

I was not going to toss mine as I had silk flowers made, but the day before I picked up a couple of bunches of roses and wrapped some ribbon around them and used those to toss. They were placed next to the cake for the reception.

I did one. I wasn't fussed about keeping the bouquet, and was getting sick of carrying it around and kept putting it down and forgetting where it was, so was just like 'Eh, might as well throw it!' lol. We got some awesome photos and it only took like 3 minutes, so I'm glad I did. We had quite a lot of unmarried ladies/girls there though who were really up for it (a couple of them were quite competitive lol) otherwise I probably wouldn't have done as it would have been a bit awkward

I did, but I did the same as both of my SILs, which was to have a spare to toss. A lot of the weddings that I have been to have included it, and it's a nice way for single girls to play a part. It's fun, and can provide some great stories. Mine landed on the floor, as I aimed it to land in the wheelchair of my husband's sister, and it landed by the wheel. A little two year old ran and picked it up, so it made an adorable photo, with her standing in the middle of the floor holding this bouquet, and having no understanding as to why she was allowed to have it but being over the moon anyway. It can be fun if people get competitive as well, providing it's all good-natured.
