Has anyone put a quote request up for flowers and actually received a quote ?? I did it yesterday but no quotes yet :-(
had about 6 in first hour with the photographers xxx

Ah right, glad it's not just me then..
I went into one local florist who said they'd get back to me and haven't bothered.. To be honest they seemed to think I was stupid going in so far before the wedding.. Won't be going back there ! I just want to see what sort of price I'll be looking at for everything, don't think that can ever be too soon.. Xxx

I did one for a cake last week and got nothing back (I have ordered it elsewhere since). I think it just depends on whether there is anyone registered as advertising on here who are within 25 miles of you as everyone can do the quote me's and if no one close to you advertises on here then no one will see your requests! xxx

It depends whose in your area and if they have actually opted into this service!
I've done all of them to see whats out there that I may have missed and I have had one quote from each lol

Just wondering how good my one and only quote is ???

£225 for silk bridal shower bouquet, silk bridesmaid posy, real 7 button holes, a real flower basket and a real thank you bouquet..

What do you guys think ? Xxx

Does it ? I have no idea about flowers at all :-/ I need my bouquet and the MOH posy in silk for a few reason..

1.we both get terrible hayfever
2.they will have black roses in them and they dye can sometimes come out/rub off
3.they will have lilies in them, can be very smelly and the seedy bits stain brown everywhere terribly !

But the rest will be real :-)
I got quoted £100 for the bouquet and posy from someone on the Bay... But I wont be able to see or feel the flowers that will make it before I pay for it......

Nothing from florets yet but I have also been looking into silk flowers but in some instances they are actually more expensive than for real ones

Yeah I've heard that from other people but I need silk ones.. Don't want to be crying ALL day on my wedding lol.. And sniffing definitely doesn't make for a classy bride haha ! xxx
