So unbelievably excited that on Saturday me and my mum are going to look at some wedding dresses, haven't a CLUE about what style I want so going totally openminded about the whole thing. I'm a size 10 but small boobs and soooo hope I can find something that doesn't make me need a silly pushup bra or worse, chicken fillets lol! Anyone else looking for dresses and any advice for smaller-boobed woman? Or any advice on places to go near Greenwich in London? We have my mums car so don't mind driving a little. Thanks in advance! xx

Happy dress hunting hun! I've no advice for small boobs (plenty advice on saggy) but just enjoy the dress shopping and dont be overly swayed by anyone elses opinion... My mum had her heart set on one particular dress I tried on and wouldnt see past it so the last 2 appts I've gone to I went on my tod and found it easier to make a decision x

I've only just ordered mine although I have been flapping a bit. it takes 20 weeks roughly to get it in then you need time for alterations. I think 9 months before would be plenty, mine will arrive end of july/start of august which is still plenty time but is cutting it a bit fine if for some reason it's delayed. It does make if feel really real, you're doing the right thing by staying open-minded about what you want - I originally wanted chiffon empire line, thought I'd need something that wasnt particularly fitted, now I've ended up picking the most gorgeous, lace fishtail dress - which I never thought I'd have or suit! I'm amazed at what a corset can do xx

Have fun. Can't help in the boob department sorry. Dress shopping is great. I went yesterday :) I was a bit overwhelmed to start with, but once I went to the second shop, the lady was so nice and I really relaxed. I found my dress and I love it. Feel free to have a nosy at the picture on my profile x

JulieW20 i'm the same as you - i'm going dress shopping next week for the first time and have absolutely no idea! I'm also small in the boob department so know i want something that gives me some shape without looking too fake. Also i'm only 5 foot 1 so don't want to wear too big a dress as that'll make me look like those little knitted dolls that old dears put on toilet rolls! x

I'm a size 10 and i am very lacking in the chest area! I found that sweetheart necklines are one of the only ones which made me look like i had something. As others just made me look even more flat chested >.<, I am still having to get my dress altered but only on the chest. x

Thanks!! Terrible of me but the first proper dress I tried on (BHS doesn't count, urrrghhh!!!) turned out to be the most amazing dress ever! Went back and tried every other dress on but none a patch on it, soooo typical! Me mum was almost in tears, my mil is gonna be over the moon and my h2b.. well, if he doesn't like it I'll make him wear it!!! Lol

No one warned me about the cost of the most amazing dress ever though... any ideas on where to find cheap veil? (shops not bay etc)

Now I have my dress done I want my wedding to hurry the hell up, it's not fair I have to wait 15months to marry the man of my dreams! :(

It was 300 but the only style they had in stock and plain and ugly. It's worth a look online, I'm sure mine was just a bad experience lol xx

Which one did you love JulieW20? :) Glad you had fun.

Ditto Jocelinetex regarding the sweetheart neckline & ruffles - number 1 for smaller chested ladies all over the internet :) Xx

Mine is from a shop in Crayford, absolutely beautiful.Would love nothing more than to show you ladies but I can't risk my other half discovering the photo online or otherwise lol it reminds me of belle's dress from beauty and the beast with the princessy skirt but pure white satin and the most beautiful with some sparkly bits i've seen in my life. Beautiful detail at the back too, I thought it was important for the back to be beautiful for people to see too haha pretty all-round :) will upload when we're married lol xx
