I'm going to make paper flowers and glue them on to some twigs and put in some vases. Will only cost paper glue and some cheap vases. I might add some gel beads to the vase but not sure yet.

We're having chair covers with colored sashes, clear and purple crystal gems scattered on the tables with purple runners and a mirror plate for each centrepiece. Also having colored bunting and fairy lights.

I'm not a big fan of balloons personally, but, that's just me.
Options to consider might be:
Tea light candles in jars/holders Twigs/branches draped with fairy lights Glass beads/crystals
Mirror plates are also great and would work well with tea-lights/candles and also beads
Alternatively, can the venue move the wedding breakfast decorations through to the evening reception room when you're done eating? At ours, the venue scattered our table centres (fish bowls with flowers) around the venue for the evening and it worked well, and meant we weren't paying twice for decorations
