Im getting married at 1pm, My hairdresser is coming to my house for 10am my hair takes 45/55minutes to do and so does my bridesmaids, Ive got to leave my house at 12.15!

I will have around just over an hour to get ready, Im doing my own make up etc this time is including getting into my dress etc.

Im worried that i wont have enough time and i'll be rushing around!

    What does everyone think? x

EDIT I have changed your thread catergory to "timeing" as this is what it falls into and not just general wedding chat!
Please find a catergory for your posts as it makes it easier for other members to search the forum if they want to know something or ask a question and they cant do that if everything is just lumped into general wedding chat!
There is a catergory for pretty much every wedding related subject going so should be easy enough to find one that suits. If not then please contact a mod and they will make one for you :-)
    thank you

We went to the hairdressers at 11:30, there was 5 of us to get our hair done but I went first (there were 2 girls between 5 of us) and even by the time my hair and foundation had been put on, it was past 1 by the time I got back to the house.

I think if all you need to do is get into your dress and do make up an hour should be OK. It took 30 minutes to put me in my dress as it was a corset, but its always better to give yourself more time than less. I didn't think it would be as rushed as it was. I had to sit and cool down for 10 minutes as I'd been rushing around after everyone else.

:) probably be easier to put make up on without your hair being done anyway, in case you get mascara in it or something lol.

I was going to do my makeup first then get my hair done (it's easier as hairdresser is coming to the house) but I didn't want to have to move my hair to put foundation on etc. You can always touch up after you've had your hair done.

If you have to leave your house at 12:15pm, you will want time to just have a breather before that so you don't feel rushed, if you have some photographs done also before you leave with your family/attendants then you'll need to be all ready in your dress, hair and makeup by I'd suggest 11:45. So I'd suggest have your hair started at 10:45am just to be on the safe side and do your make up before having your hair done, so maybe around 10:15am start on your makeup? Not sure how long it'll take you to do but always give yourself plenty of time so there is no pressure and also just in case there are any mistakes and you have time to redo it. Also need time for brekkie and drink and have time for it to work it's way through your system and go to the bathroom before you get into your dress! Sorry, I know that sounds awful but the last thing you want is to be bursting for the bathroom either on your way to the ceremony or during the ceremony.

    xx
