Hi I am new to this so any help would be gratefully received, i'm looking for someone that is local to southampton that does hair and make-up but won't charge the world for it, I also have 5 bridesmaids!! :-/ so i need to cover theire hair and makeup, any ideas or suggestions would be great

Oh I can't! But I'm using someone called MIchelle Halewood, she's based in Liverpool but she travels - one of my friends has booked her and she's getting married in Nov in Brighton! Really good rates, to do hair and make up for me, 1 bridesmaid and my mum with a trial for me is £240. Failing that you could maybe get someone in to do their hair only, and you can book make up sessions at beauty counters if there's one nearby...

Annette Bradford is amazing at hair and has very good prices. Her hairdressing skills are awesome and she is so versatile. Up-dos, down-dos, they are all great but I personally think she has a real skill for crafting beautiful up-dos suitable for a queen. I have seen her several times at different wedding fayres. I have just bumped into her this weekend actually. I think she is based in Waterlooville (or somewhere like that) and has her own salon. The salon is called 'Elegance Hair and Beauty Salon'. Her best photos are on fb. Search for her. I haven't booked her yet, but I am hopefully doing so this week. x
