I'm so annoyed, I contacted a local hotel with a view to arranging a viewing and to hopefully book them for the reception. When I rang the wedding coordinator said she didn't have her rota yet so couldn't book a viewing yet, this was last Sunday. She said she would call this week. She hasn't....

I called on Wednesday to hear her say she would get her rota the next day and would call me then....she didn't.

How long does it take to make a quick call, even if it's just to say sorry I can't make an appointment for you yet? instead I'm left to chase her.

Do they actually want our business?!

    Grrrrrr!

Can't wait until the day I become Mrs. Johnson :)

That's really crappy!! What a rubbish co-ordinator. I would be totally put off by that, if she cant organise a phonecall to you how can she organise a wedding!! x

It's unprofessional, I've just sent an email to her asking her to contact me asap, otherwise we'll take our potential business elsewhere.

I agree with croc if they can't get something right before you hand over your money to them you then I doubt they can support you when you need them and have questions etc. My venue have always been great from the start and have carried on after we handed over the money. They are always there when I call up and emails are answered straight away. I even called in on spec and she came down to see me as I had some questions. You need a venue that works for you and will do anything for you. Its your big day you don't want to leave it to chance.

So annoying but seems to be par for the course these days. Still awaiting a call from our disco man..... asked him to ring about 6 weeks ago (asked via the venue who booked him), chased it up 2 days ago, still no phone call. Getting bit fed up now. Want to organise our play list! Sent out about 8 reminder emails and texts yesterday and today about non-responder RSVPS. Not one response. Took our cake maker 3 months to send receipt for cake payment, finally got it after chasing twice! Gets you a bit down really. So I get where you are coming from with this!

She doesn't seem interested, its not a very good way to run a business, you could be spending alot of money with them, its no way to treat someone who is interested in using your service. Out hotel couldn't be more helpful, he has rang me twice other than when I want to get in contact to see if everything is going ok and if there's anything he can do. Good luck. Unless your heart is set on maybe think again? x
