I'm planning on doing my own make-up. A few years ago I would have NEVER said this! However, in the last few years I've discovered some beauty 'gurus' on You Tube (Pixiwoo, pixi2woo, fleurdeforce, panacea81, nurbexo etc) and they have taught me tonnes, pretty much everything I need to know about make up to be able to do my own to look good on the day in real life AND in photos (very important with regards to SPF in foundations etc). So, I just wanted to give people a bit of encouragement...you don't have to pay through the nose to get decent make-up...just look at some videos, see some top tips and learn yourself. I've loved it! MAC is my new favourite place!

That's good. I'm not confident with make up at all and hardly every wear it. If I do it's only a bit of lipstick/gloss. Was thinking of going for a trial and then purchases the products they use one me. Looking at you tube sounds good though :) x

I had a makeover at MAC (costs £25 and you spend the £25 on products after). At MAC (in covent garden anyway) you can pay £50 and have a lesson and you get to spend that £50 on products. I might have a 'lesson' one before my big day to get some last minute bridal tips and to stock up on make up essentials! Jx
