So ladies... this Saturday will be 10 weeks till by big day and I feel so un-organise :S
I started off feeling like I was on top of it and now... i'm not :s
I am getting married on the 29th of October in glasgow at 3pm and cant wait :)
To date I have done...
Venue: Booked and deposit paid - remainder to be paid by 17/09/11 Registrar : Booked and deposit paid... need to give notice ASAP and pay remainder of fees Cake: Booked and deposit paid DJ: Booked and deposit booked Dress: Bought and fully paid!! :D Photographer: My cousins OH doing them :)
To-do;
Flowers: my aunt is doing them but not discussed or decided anything yet... Hair: Needs Booked Make-up: I want to do myself but still need to buy it all.... Mens Suits need ordering Menu needs finalised and ok's with hotel and tasting booked... Have organised chair covers and centrepieces but yet to pay deposit! :S Need to organise ceremony music Gifts for the bridal party! MOB and MOG still need outfits and I said i would help choose... INVITATIONS: have started being made but havent been finished and this really needs done ASAP!! STAG & HEN is booked but other than a venue nothing has been organised and no money collected....(is on 08/10/11) Favours need to be organised.... Honeymoon..... Need to sort Wedding Rings....
Im sure theres a few other things missing but you get the idea so far lol the idea with this thread is to let me keep note of my progress and for you lovely ladies to give me a kick up the **** when needed...
Also hopefully it will be a good indicator that my wedding can stil turn out perfect with all this still to do....

The money fairy - I did have her number but i think I lost it when I got engaged! I think you should rewrite your to-do list in terms of priority - that well help you organise what you need to do :)
There are so many people out there who will tell you
what you can't do.
What you have to do is turn around and say, "watch me"!!

I'd agree, firstly breathe, everythign will be fine!
Put your list into an order of priority and start at the top, some of the things can be sorted pretty quickly just with a phone call, like your hair. Also paying the depoist for your centrepieces is an easy one, so do these first and you'll feel like you're making good progress 'cos you can tick them straight off :)
Try to plan what you need to buy, make up and gifts for the bridal party so you can go out and get everything in just one morning and that will be 2 more things ticked off :D
Spend and evening playing your old CD's and choose your playlist with H2B, you could even be finishing your invites whilst doing this!
I'm sure you'll get through it all, just don't panic, it never helps!
Keep us updated, but don't spend too much time on here!

You'll be fine. As the ladies have said, prioritise & if you can double up on the things you need to get done. ie what Zoe said about doing invites whilst making a playlist. Post on here when you complete something from your list. :)

Sounds like you are organised you just need the time and a little extra cash to have it all done!
Just try take it easy and tackle the things that really need done.
Im sure wedding party can wait a day or two for gifts if you cant get them organised by the wedding, And you dont have to have favours if that saves you stressing about that.

I have e-mailed venue she said it should be ok... just waiting on her costing he main course :)
I printed off my wedding notice forms so we can get them filled in....
no list as off yet :s will get that done in a min :s

1. Menu tasting is booked for Friday at 7pm
2. Men's Suits are picked and deposit paid! Just need to find some cravats as the shop didn't have colour I was looking for :(

You should rate your list og things to do with numbers starting at 1 (as the most important) right up to whatever number. Then you can just follow the numbers and do what's next in prioirty

ok time for an update me feels....
In the last 12 days I have.....
1. Paid Venue in full 2. Paid for my chair covers and centrepieces 3. Ordered Suits 4. Got flower girl shoes 5. Got my underwear 6. Treated myself to bridal jewellery 7. Ordered and received my hoop and bolero 8. Bought and paid for our wedding rings 9. invites are nearly all out... 10. Bought all the make-up I need and had a wee trial 11. had a hair trial 12. confirmed menu choices.
phew its been a busy few days!!! lol but i'm feeling a lot more positive now :D
Still to do...
1. Pay rest of cake 2. Give notice of marriage 3. sort out cravats 4. Meet auntie to sort flowers 5. And sort the stag and hen out asap :D
but getting there lol :D

well update as off 19/09!
I got a hold of my cake lady :D and all is sorted also changed the design! and its all paid now, so another tick! Also managed to get hold of my cake topper at the weekend (had been out of stock)
Imagine all the brown is purple lol and some more hearts :D

we update...just under 4 weeks to go...
Today we gave notice!!!!
yesterday I got cravats only £13 each :) not bad when I had be been quoted £12.50 for hire.
My dad got measured for his suit :)
My mum finally found an outfit :D
Stag and Hen Is Sorted! and is this SATURDAY :O just need to sort our outfits :)
ohhh not much left to do wooop wooop!!!(just need evening invites 2 go out... lol)
