What music are you having for your ceremony? Live performance or recording? How did you choose your songs?

I was just thinking how early this was posted lol.. We're having a recording when people are sitting down for the church ceremony (see perfect song for church thread) and then just usual hymns (hopefully not too many) then a recording when we leave... The songs will be chosen by h2b and me and will be special to us xxx

I was here, it was the new day... I thought why not?
We are having a piper to greet guests, and the organist during the ceremony. We have chosen the music and hymns together- and they are all special to us. I can't wait!

we had recordings songs were played while guests entered to take their seats,then my entrance music,then another track while we signed the register and then our exit track, the registry office had alot of music on offer for us but we had to make sure the it was all on 1 cd to make it easier for them,the songs were

We were having recordings of some songs but had only picked one so far (chasing cars by snow petrol to walk into, need one for going out and signing registra) but now we are having disney we get an organist for the ceromony included in the package so hopefully they have the sheet music for it if not i'll have to look for it and we have a violinist for the meal also included so looking into songs for that today :-)

We'll be having a recording. I think I'll be walking down the 'aisle' to the music of Nickelback - Far away - I just need to find the track with out the words. Our first dance wil be Westlife - Us against the world We chose them because we both love the songs...and finding a love song that H2B likes is hard,he's such a bloke!!! lol.

we are going to have a recording unless we can con h2b cousin into playing for us, (its one of his that i have chosen to walk down the aisle to, as it was writen about h2b's mum)
probably c.ds for the evening unless as above with his band, then itll be classical and folk stuff with c.ds whilst they are having a break

We are having ours on CD. There will be classical music for the ceremony. We are then having easy listening music - Michael Buble, Eva Cassidy etc... on CD's for during the meal and then a DJ in the evening.

We are having recordings and a guitarist... We have mellow songs by Eva Cassidy and Katie Melua while guests enter and wait While I walk down the aisle, H2B's nephew is playing his guitar, we have 2 more tracks while we sign the register and exit (and we have Kenny G cd playing in the back ground during the wedding breakfast) :0)

We are having the fray "how to save a life" but music only, signing of the regsiter Aerosmiths "i dont want to miss a thing" & Cyndi Laupers "time after time" (h2b's choices) and as we are walking out we are having snow patrol "chasing cars"

im still try 2 choose songs im totaly lost on wat 2 choose im going to have a recording of bagpipes playing highland cathdral think for signin the papers bagpipes playing the braveheart love theme walking out maybe highland cathdral again (dont have a clue really wat 2 have) first dance i wanna grow old with you, it will be the dance version but we will be slow dancing lol xx
