We're planning on having a 'pimp you cupcake' alongside our sweet table, and we're struggling to think of what kind of toppings to have. We'd ideally like to have 6 different toppings. But so far can only think of hundreds and thousands, chocolate buttons, and mini marshmallows. Any ideas?

If you go into one of the supermarkets and look at their baking section you will find loads of stuff there. I find t3sc0 have a great selection (esp if it's one of their larger stores)

Vermicelli (the long chocolate hundreds and thousands), silver balls, mini candy hearts, you can get lots of cup cake toppings in supermarkets and at wholesale shops

Lemon drizzle and cherry bakewell. Naked cakes seem to be a thing at the moment.

We got edible butterflies (rice paper) from @mazon to decorate our wedding cake. They looked awesome and they come in lots of different sizes so there would be smaller ones to fit cupcakes. We only looked for butterflies but I imagine they come in all kinds of shapes. X

Personalised m&ms, can be bought by the kilo, can have writing or photos on them. Also et$y has edible paper butterflies in a wide variety of colours, which are amazing.
