    Hey Ladies,

I have a slight problem, I bought my dressa about 4yrs ago (I found out i was pregnant again so we postponed), and the shop i bought it from are no longer stockists of the Alfred Angelo range.

The dilema I have is that I have contacted a UK veil company online & they are able to make my veil and colour match for me. (I want my veil edged in Claret red ribbon to match my dress) only I cant find anywhere that has swatches for the dream in colour range for alfred angelo. So I cant send a swatch to the veil makers and place my order cos I cant find anything exactly the same colour to send them to make sure they get it right....

    I have tried:
    a couple of bridal shops
    the bay
    the rainforest
    play

    any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

Have you thought of paint colour cards? The brand with the big fluffy dog have a huge range of shades - you can go to any DIY shop, pick up a handful of their colour cards, and once you've matched it, you can get multiples of that card and distribute to anyone, so you can say its 'claret dream 4' - match it please!
It's an idea my mum used for her wedding to make sure the florists ribbon matched the men's ties etc - just gave a colour card to each supplier! So easy and free! :-)

Amy has a good idea or You could try matching it to some ribbon in a Haberdashers go in and get some samples then hold it against the colour on your dress and sending them the one that is the closest match. Its what I've done when trying to match my BM dresses and acessories.
