We have decided to change our colour scheme but unfortunately all the stationary items we have bought are still our old colours and the shop wont take them back as they have been opened. Does anyone know where i can get affordable black and white invites??

I am looking for as cheap as possible but without looking tacky.

I had heard some really mixed reviews about their products so wasnt sure what the quality was like. Have you ever had anything off of them?

Me, my mum and my sister have all got our business cards from there and ive also used them for birthday invites a few times, been really pleased with them every time!

the postage and VAT do make it more expensive. The daytime invites were £10.99 for 30 and another £12 in VAT and delivery. But that was 7 day delivery.

21 day delivery is around £5/£6. You just have to go through hundreds of pages saying no to the matching rubbish they try to get you to buy. Make sure you untick any boxes sayin Add this to order. Cos they offer loads of stuff once youve designed it.

I reckon you could get 60 odd invites for about £30 with a slow delivery. 30 evening invitations cost £37 cos I wanted 3 day delivery. The invitations were only £15 odd but the delivery is extortionate. Its cos its comin from America

If you sign up to VP they send you weekly emails about the products on free at the min. You don't have to use their "invite" template, you could use "postcard" instead depending on what style you are after, they usually do these for 100 for FREE, I've ordered loads off them before for promotional stuff, and I'm ordering postcards as my evening invites :)
The 21 day delivery isn't always 21 days, I've requested 21 days and had them within a week before.

Well i went onto the VP webiste to price up my invites so for 40 day invites, 100 night invites, 140 return address stickers, 40 RSVP cards and all envelopes it was costing me £82.13 which is amazing, but then i came across a £10 voucher if you spend more than £20 so after this was deducted it brought my total down to £72.13.

However, just because i had an extra few minutes i tried putting them all through in bundles ( day invites were £27, evening £29 then i put the stickers and RSVP card through together as this would equal £24.50) and applied the £10 off voucher to each bundle and after calculating the shipping and tax cost my new total for everything is £61.80. So we are definatly going to buy these invites next week as the voucher runs out on the 30th April.

So try to seperate bundles down if applying a voucher cause you may save more money.
If anyone wants the voucher code let me know and il put it on your wall

These are images of the invites i will be getting off of VP, what do you think? I cant choose between the first and second image of which one i should have for our day invites - Which one does you prefer? If anyone has any comments or ideas about how i can improve them please let me know.

I dont understand the choice of drinks on the RSVP card.... why would please get options of what to drink and so you tick or write numbers? Do you get only get one choice per guest? Sorry, maybe im being stupid but confused.

Do you need to put on the RSVP if they want meat or veggie option or is a buffet?

Millz090 - you aren't being stupid at all, I think because I knew what I meant I assumed everyone would lol so thank you for pointing that out! Do you think I should put ' please tick a choice of arrival drink' instead? Or is that not much clearer lol.

There will be a 2 meat and a veggie option available on the day so we don't need to worry about numbers for each.

Lala, ur invites are stunning - unfortunately I'm not really the artistic type, I did attempt to make my own invites at first but I was left with uneven, ugly cards lol. Also I don't have a home computer and I don't think my work would appreciate me doing them at work.

I don't even mind paying someone to do them for me but they charge extortionate rates sometimes!! X

i need about 40 day invites and 35 night invites - but I couldnt expect you to do that for me Lala, thank you very much though for offering tho it is very generous of you xx

VP all the way, I have bought loads from there, use their 100 FREE postcards offer and just change the design to an invite.

So far I have got -

100 RSVP cards
2 Personalised Mugs for the Ushers
2 Personalised pens for parents
1 Cotton Shopping bag for MOH
All of these were free I just paid for postage so has cost me £13.47 so far!!

Will be getting invites from there, again using the 100 Free Postcard offer and they will match the Thank you cards and RSVP cards, Bargain! xx
