I love love love having my hair done and got shorter over the years so now its a short bob with a fringe and very dark. MY H2B likes long hair so made me promise to grow it for the wedding so i have started now but i am sooo bored and depressed with my hair as horrible in between length. Anyway my BM who is my hairdresser too is changing it today... not cutting it as growing but the colour so i feel like i have had my hair done...
What colour do you think? Im thinking either an all over deep red colour or light brown highlights through? Any one else growing their hair out for their wedding?

I am TRYING to grow my hair out, but it feels like its taking ages. I think light brown highlights through would be nice, as it gives a shine to dark hair.

I started growing my hair out before h2b proposed as I knew we'd be getting married at some point, and I wanted my long hair back. It's now down to the middle of my back from a short bob.

Yep, me millz090 ! I had my midback length hair cut in November last year into an asymetrical graduated bob which was just below my chin on one side, and slightly longer on the other. I loved it! Really suited me ..... then we set a date for the wedding and I decided there and then that I HAD to grow my hair again as I didn't want to have short hair on my wedding day. Mine too is at that inbetween stage where it's too long to wear down at work but is just a little too short to go up into a tiny ponytail without the help of a handful of clips!! It seems to be taking ages to grow
I'm keeping my red colour for the wedding ... I think! (I use one of those Live colours - fab reds!) xx

I hate growing it as so boring and love short hair but my H2B likes my hair long. If i can get it to my shoulders then invest in some hair extensions for nights out... im thinking a deep red too but cant be too bright for work xx

Lol I know what you mean about the brightness of hair colour - some parts of the NHS do not tolerate anything other than 'natural' hair colouring!! I do mine in red passion and everyone comments on how lovely it is xx

Well i am an trainer for a recruitment company and look after 240 ish employees so need to look professional at all times and bright red hair would also clash with my suit so maybe a dark red would work... i will see what my hairdresser says, appointment at 1 today!

I am growing mine too, was a very short pixie cut mid dec, is now an inch short of shoulder length at the back at the bottom. My hair grows really quite fast.
One reason I love working in theatres at the hospital my hair can be any colour I like (going through a 'I must grow up' stage at the moment so its chocolate brown). Could probably get away with rollers in my hair under my hat if I wore a cloth one.

i love different styles but because im fat i like long hair to cover my double chin.... my hair is just so thick n being busy working and two manic kids and one being such hard work i just don't get time to straighten my hair every day so its like a big bushy tail :( another stone and half and after the wedding treating my self to an afternoon of pampering and hairdressers.... Millz put pics up after you've been hairdressers? xxx

I love long hair and had long hair for years and i fancied a change so got it cut short. My hair only seems to grow to a certain legnth now and i desperately want my long hair back now. I think the light brown will look nice as it will give a nice multitonal look. Hope you like whatever you decide and hope to see a pic of your new hair xx

I am growing mine for wedding too, though I have to say am struggling I hate it. I used to have long hair but it was curly then I wanted a change so went to short straight hair and have never looked back. I can't wait til it gets passed the im between really horrible stage and as soon as wedding is over it will all be coming off again.

Also loving the new colour :-) I have long hair but i usually grow my hair then get bored and have it cut to a bob around my ears. I am currently fighting the urge to get my hair cut! I know wearing my hair up will look better with my dress and for photos but i hate my ears! lol x
