What about Loch Lomond? we are getting married at the buchanan arms there. Its a really decent price but the most amazing place (in my opinion) is The Cruin at Loch Lomond. Its gorgeous inside

hmmmm, well theres cameron house but thats a hotel....or the big youth centre at loch lomond which is an old country house - they rent that out for weddings....

I didnt really look at castley places cos we're on a small budget but my friend got married at one down near berwick, I'll ask him the name of it for you

Near Gretna they have Comlongon Castle which is my dream venue or Auchen Castle but me and Rockabilly are now venue buddies lol and im more than happy with Buchanan Arms.

There are loads of venues you can look at and even some of the castles dont look like castles - have you looked at Sherbrook Castle in Glasgow or then there is Oran Mor (jaw dropping building lol)

Im from Glasgow but now live in Essex (dont mention TOWIE or ill scream)

Working on a 3 dream plan for the next 5 years!
    Dream 1 = My gorgeous Mr P proposed - 4/9/11 Sydney Harbour
Dream 2 = Getting Married Easter 2012 by Bonnie Loch Lomond
Dream 3 = Working on that dream life in Australia

Mrs Stocks 2B I'm in Edinburgh too! I'm having my reception at Hopetoun, it's just so lovely :)

Have you looked at Glenskirlie House, Dundas Castle, Fettes College or Dalhousie Castle? They're all lovely and look like castles :D
