rite...............me n h2b have semi cancelled the wedding!!!
were still goin 2 the reg office and gettin married on 28th but were going alone and then headin out 4 a meal together before we fly away abroad for our honeymoon,long story short but family dramas are the reasons.
anyways we have our venue booked and our photographer n chair covers booked,
we'll lose our deposits for the photographer n venue n the whole amount for the chair covers.............il like 2 offer all of these 2 any brides in nottingham,,,the venue n photographer n chair cover company have all agreed to transfer the deposits to another couple providing they have the new couples chosen dates available.
we'd like them to not go to waste so pls pm me if any1 wants the info,cheers x xx x

the venue,photographer and chair cover company will all transfer the deposits to another couple for any date so long as its this year........its just a case of whoever may want it checking that the companys have the couples date available x x x

Real shame how family seem to take the fun out of weddings. At least you get to do the most important part still though. Shame I get married next year, cus I would have took your hand off!

What a lovely gesture, wish I could take you up on the offer but not getting married till 2013 and we are in Northampton. Families can be a right pain when it comes to weddings, you know what the old saying is dont you ? ' You can pick your friends - but you cant pick your family' Sounds awful but unfortunately it is so true. Good luck to you. xxx

I mentioned this thread to my mum, and she's going to talk to my sister who's based in Derby. She's had the religious ceremony but, due to a variety of reasons I won't get into, she hasn't done the legal bit yet. And she's been dragging her heels in booking anything.
I'm not making any promises though- my sister is a bit of a flake and everytime she's asked about anything remotely important she goes "oh, I just can't think about that it's far too much".

My sister wants to know more about the venue- what is it called? Also the name of the caterer and the chair cover company? How much is left to be paid?
