Hey ladies....may seem a silly question...., but do any of you know my answer lol! i had delivered today a basque, which was ok i guess in the support stakes (will be fine under a fitted dress (i hope!!!) problem is.....firstly the 2 front bones...one of them was just bowing outwards......then once i fiddled about a bit with it...it made a funny dent so bowed inwards!?!?!?
i am stuck as to why this is happening? do i have the wrong size or does it sound like a fault??? any help is greatly appreciated!

    thanks xx

I think they are supposed to give you that concave shape, to give you a more desirable shape.
I'm not really that sure but I think lol, but I agree strapless bras are rubbish

they are plastic....a different size would mean having a 'spillage' of breast...or a saggy look....i am just gonna abandon the whole idea grrr x

I had the same problem- ended up going with spanks to hold in and give a smooth line. They're much more comfy to sit down in too!!! X

Aurora, I was about to say about plastic bones. They're worse than useless usually. Steel boning may sound scary but it's actually a lot more flexible and secure at the same time.

You might have to go for a corset rather than a basque. Some plastic bones are better than others but they do tend to bow after a while and can be VERY uncomfortable when they do.

gonna sound like another silly question...can u wear a corset under a tight fitting dress..or is it better to have the corset incorporated into the dress? i have an appointment with the bridal shop saturday, and would like to know what to ask for...(to give me the best possible chance of support) i am useless at this lol xx

You can wear a corset under your dress but you MUST have the corset before your first fitting. MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST!

I have a great corsetiere who I think is actually about the same bra size as you, if you'd like a recommendation.
