Gosh I was either a cheapskate or I was really lucky that my reception venue provided most things but all I bought to decorate was a few bags of table confetti, a flower display that was moved from my church to my venue (wasn't going to pay for 2 when I could use the same one twice lol) and that's about it.

what do u actually "mean" by decorating venue???
do u mean like everything from chair covers to sashes, centre pieces, balloons, confetti, back drops etc???
or do u just mean like the small things for the tables? x

I,m on a tight budget so I asked family & friends if they knew anyone who does decorations/cakes/entertainment etc. My friends-friend will do my balloons 10x3 tables & an arch for £50.00. Worth pulling in favours.

    Good luck :)
