We have been to 2 wedding fairs today one was at our venue and my amazing h2b has booked me a Bentley to take me to the wedding so I can stay at home the night before like I really wanted to do but was only going to stay at hotel to save money bless him love him so much

And to top it off got a really good deal (I think it is anyway) An amazing silver Bentley 2 trips from mine to venue then a drive round for me and hubby after ceremony for £280!!

Im getting married on August 3rd 2012 at Lothian chambers registry and our reception will be in a pub too, which also saves me and the h2b some pennies. I cant wait everyday im constantly looking for ideas and at wedding stuff. I already have the bridesmaids dress and mine so its just getting invites done etc :D

We've got similar things to sort out, bits and bobs like hair accessories and finish getting gifts for the best man, ushers etc... I'm starting to worry that there's some huge list of things that we've forgotten to think of but am sure we've covered pretty much everything. I think over the weekend will have a look at the list and see what else is left to do but am pretty sure we are on top of it all. Even got all the money in place ready for payments so dont know what I'm worrying about, just got a lil doubt in my head lol...xx

Oh my, I'd better get cracking I think, I've moved my date forward to Aug 15th and have got absolutely nothing sorted except my dress! I know exactly what I want and when I want it etc, but the vicar hasnt 100% confirmed yet as he needs to find holiday cover!

got to go in due to problem with my rings tomo oh poo. Apparently to get the e.ring and the wedding ring to match they need to increase the size of the diamonds, only by 0.2ct but they still want to charge me 200 quid grrrrrr!

I'm a student so me and a lot of my friends are all off for the summer. MIL2B is semi retired and none of my family work really. I need to take every bit of discount I can get so I just thought why not! It couldve been any weekday Mon to Thurs really, so I just decided with the old rhyme.. "Monday for health, Tuesday for wealth, Wednesday the best day of all" :)

good luck getting your rings. Its just annoying as I hate being without my ring and I have been without it a week and they havent touched it yet because I have to go and see them but work mon -fri in school. Gonna go early afternoon tomo so I still get a mini lie in and winge and moan but I doubt I will get anywhere. They will probably still charge me.

aw you'll get there sian, i thought the same not long ago and ive kinda got it under control now....after hours of googling this and that to find the best bargains! couldnt imagine having tonnes of money to spend on it now lol

Sian im with u on this one, im in a panick over cash flow im trying to work full time , agency work when available n doing avon, i'm only just recoverin financially after being made redundant last yr n h2b is getting made redundant soon,
can u do a car boot? bay of e selling- no fees this weekend , books sell on a site named after rainforest, can u offer to do a dog walking or sitting service locally? i'll put a website on ur wall that may be of use that helps u find funds for things through donations, if theres anything else i can think of i'll let u know hun xx

OMG its coming round to quick had our venue meeting monday and made all those last decisions picked menu etc

Paying off flowers tomorrow and a big chunk of the honeymoon so that will bring remainder of what to pay down quite a bit hopefully :) xx

Just got the food to pay for and the registrar, everything else is paid for.....but its not all sorted out yet. like i have paid for loads of taffeta....now i just got to make the bridesmaids dresses.....1 down, 3 to go. ugh.

5 months today ..... wow coming round so quickly!!!!

5 months today yeeeeeeeey and dave paid off the regsitrar today,. I am sending my venue cheque. I said I was going to do it yesterday but forgot. just not sure how much I want to pay off as I have a grand flower bill next month and I know all the money is there for the entire wedding but Im stingy and dont want it all going all at once haha!

they want a cheque for 50% of the remainder in May but I want to pay a bit extra early. JUst deciding how much extra. They wont let us pay off the whole thing due to not having confirmed guest numbers etc but theres over 4K left so I figured I may pay off 1500 now, in april pay the 1k flowers and the remainder of the rings. I dont know. Then in May 3k goes to thompsons eek to pay off the rest of the honeymoon and then the entertainment money is due. Its scary. We had to go through the contracts last night to see who wants what and by when. Theres only one thing we can wait until the week before to pay. Very scary good job we saved up early or we would be pooing it now.
