    Hi everyone,

I'm thinking of investing in an 'all inclusive' wedding package at R0wt0n C@stl3 - [link removed] but I was wondering if they are worth it or are they slightly overpriced?

Has anyone chosen an all inclusive package before?

    Thanks

I went for an all inclusive package and I think it was a really good deal, it's at a hotel so maybe comes with a smaller price tag than a more extravagant building but for £5085 (we were given a 10% discount for giving somebody else our date and changing ours) we get a 4 course meal for 75 day guests with a drinks package (bucks fizz on arrival, wine with meal, sparkling wine for toasts), a buffet for 150 evening guests, the in house venue dresser to dress the tables, an evening DJ, red carpet entry and a room for the night. I personally think we have an amazing deal for the amount of guests.

i love the idea of an all inclusive wedding and they do seem to be slightly cheaper, i'm having a church and then a marquee those together are 4000 that's without linen, center pieces, flowers cake etc. i would of loved an all inclusive but round my area they don't cater for as large a group as i need as we both have extremely large families with just immediate and aunts and uncles its 100 people

danielle, i know how you feel about a large family, like i said above we have a 75 guest limit and my family has been harshly cut :( H2B can fit his entire family around one table and the other 8 tables are my family and like i said they've been cut so it's not even all of them!

wow i bet that was hard to cut down numbers. We found it too hard to try cut down our numbers as even though we both from large families we are all really close and often have family get together etc, so we decided to just invite all the aunts and uncles, grandparents, parents siblings and nieces and nephews to all day, we will have to be picky with evening guests though as we have about 40 cousins who all have at least 2 kids etc thats without friends, our guest list is being an absolute nightmare

oooh we are doing it opposite way around, my venue can't cater for as many cousins as i have for the meal but will do for the evening so they will be invited to that. My H2B's family are so confused at the amount of family i have as he has an auntie and uncle each side with 4 cousins all together and 2 he has never met

We had an initial list of 230, we've had to chop down to 100 for day and 150 for evening! It's a nightmare!

I've had to chop all of work 2nd cousins etc- I know I will upset people but I'm not changing venue just because we may upset people

Our venue is exclusive use so we get the whole place, 48 bedrooms b&b- guests just book rooms and this comes off our bill! 2 reception drinks, 3 course meal, half a bottle of wine per person, champagne for toast and evening buffet for 150 people, table decorations, cake stand, printed name places and seating plan, seat covers and bows to match our theme, also we are getting rooms the previous night and a meal for my family, even negotiated a 2.5k discount on a bank holiday Saturday!!!

We found all inclusive venues to be a really good deal, the one we looked at would have been perfect it included everything from food and drink to entertainment and even a photographer, however we weren't keen on the venue so it wasn't for us. We have compromised, the venue we have chosen includes accommodation, wedding breakfast, evening buffet, welcome drinks, toasting drinks and wine on the table in it's price (a very good price for what is involved) I have then sourced the added extra's i.e entertainment and decorations myself and to be honest with you this wasn't as expensive as I initially thought (especially as we have booked for New years eve). Looking back I'm really happy with the way we chose to put things together, we haven't got the stress of a complete DIY wedding where you have to bring together everything from venue to catering, bar to decorations etc, however we have a bit more freedom to chose what we want to have which we may not have got with an AI package.

As much as I'd have loved to do more diy bits for ours, there simply wasn't enough time, so we booked all in package with the hotel, best decision ever!

Absolutely everything you could have imagined available with bespoke packages too.

We booked the Ruby package (they had 4, pearl, emerald, ruby and diamond. Pearl being £27 pp, diamond £125pp)
We bespoked it which changed the price a bit. Swapped prosecco for champagne toast, removed the dj and wine and supplied our own, added an evening buffet for 120 people.

It came with 3 course dinner for 80, arrival drink (prosecco), bridal suite, uplighters, chair covers and sashes, centre pieces, guest book, table plan, waiter service, anniversary stay and dinner (which we just had). Priced at £8,000apx. Worth it if you have the budget for it. worked out to be £85pp plus the buffet at £16pp (only charged us for 80, but had 120 buffet guests). We had an open bar which came to £247.

Not everyone's budget is the same, if you love the package offered, and it's within your realistic budget, go for it.

Ours includes a lot but not everything.
We get 3 course meal, arrival drinks, drink for toast, glass of wine with meal, DJ, toastmaster, chair covers and sashes, evening bacon baps and chips. Their standard numbers are 50 day and 80 evening which is £2999 but for us to have 68 day and 103 evening it's less than £4k

Just be careful if decorations are included, these can often be very basic and at one hotel we looked at they were very tired and cheap looking

We also asked for details of the DJ as wanted to check what they were like.. Wasn't keen on their standard option so they offered someone else who we loved and went with x

We booked an all inclusive package. We have 100 day guests. A 4 course meal. Glass of bucks fizz on arrival. Half a bottle of wine each with the meal and glass of wine for the toast. We get the bridal suite on the night of the wedding. Bacon baps on the night. Free tasting with wine. Table cards and menus. Cake stand hire. Napkins to match our colour scheme. And red carpet. All for just under £6,000. We are getting married there also. We have big families but we have been strict and only invited people that bother with us. We are not having night guests. Upset a lot of people but it's us who are paying for it all and half of them don't really make an effort. It's your wedding and you got to have who you want there. It's a lot of money to pay for people you don't really see or talk to. =)

We've booked an all inclusive package at R0w70n Ca57l3 for next year :) we've cut the price down by getting married on a week day! And all of the suppliers I.e florist DJ photographer included are really great people! I've booked them all with ease met them and got discounts on other things just for booking our wedding there!
Even the wedding coordinators are amazing any question I have no matter how silly they have answered it no problem ( I have asked a lot!) I've looked at a lot of other venues and I just fell in love with R0w70n
I definitely think I made the right decision and I can't wait for our special day next year :) xx
