Was just discussin with my bestie whether or not to go to a wedding fair round the corner from us tomorrow. Has anyone been to one before? If so, what is it like? Might sound realli silly but I just wanna go to browse and get ideas really, I don't want to feel pressured/forced into anything, so just wondered if ones people have been to before have been pretty chilled or not?... I guess I've just never been to one before so worrying a bit!

It's just people from all lines of business's that involve wedding. Really just trying to atract you to use there business. You will see florists there, people that make invite's etc, Photographers. I went one the other week, and there was a guy there who has an old style ice cream cart that you could hire, also people from beautiy salons, Ballonists, also dress stores too. Some will even do a cat walk show with the dresses. :) You should go, they are great. xx

There's one coming up next month at my venue and I can't wait. I went to one there ages ago and there were people doing fowers, cakes, jewellery, suits, dresses, photographers, cars, niknaks for the tables, beauty stuff and there were 2 catwalk shows. There was lots of leaflets, a few with discounts on if you booked on the day and a few freebies :) all in all they're good. I found most people would ask the date of the wedding and then get their diary out lol. I haven't found anyone being overly pushy though. enjoy and ave fun x

It's been years since i've been to one (for my mums wedding) but I don't remember it feeling pressured, just a lot of things to take in. I am meant to be going to one next weekend, i'm looking forward to it, like you, i'm not going to buy, just for ideas on the last few things really. xx

Ive been to a few some were rubbish and only had a few tables with the same thing on (photographers) and others have been brillant. I'd say they were worthwhile to get ideas from if nothing else. I'll be going to one next weekend which is the biggest one in our area and I can't wait hehehe
