No pics, got the jist of what I'm having but didn't hold too well because my hair was too clean lol. Under strict instructions to wash hair two days before the wedding!! Will try and find some pics of how I'm going to have it! C x

Well had a turn up for the books, got a call from the BM yesterday morning to say she was in the Malaysian Debenhams, they didnt have the dress I ordered but she did find another which is more like the colour we originally wanted, it fit her well and best of all, they had the 25% sale on as well so after conversion, it was for £48! It's more of a pencil skirt dress but it does look smart on her, so she's bought it - yesterday the one I ordered for her arrived too so will be sending that back this week! Woohoo we are getting there!

Im getting ready at my mums too but the thought of it is starting to stress me out lol my dad does nothing but faff and have 2 adult bridesmaids and 3 girls getting ready there too plus my brother and his gf!! have managed to ship my bro and his gf to a neighbours and thinking im going to do some kind of time table for bathroom in the morning x

I'm getting ready at my mum's with my BM, usually my mum will be a bit stressed out with all the bother but as she's making the cake, she'll be out for a couple of hours from say 10-11.30 to set it all up so hopefully it'll be fairly stress free! H2B is getting ready at his dad's hotel with him in the morning :-)

if i lived on the mainland il be getting ready at mums but instead getting ready at mine mum n the 2 adult bms are starying here at mine and where i have a big bungalow im having a hair room, make up room and a dress room which will be the livingroom (but im not posh for having a spacious bungalow i got a brill deal for rent so snatched it up but makes up for council tax though :(...)
Oh my god me either never thought about bathroom rota.... but we dnt want it to steamy as dnt want frizzy hair and i cant wash my hair on the day cos it goes to silky n nothing stays in arrrgggghhhh another list for me to do i'll put the rota on the door haha. NOT LONG GIRLS :) hehe how bloody exiting aye. xxxx

Starting to get a bit panicky now. Still haven't set my food choices for the reception buffet. H2b Still hasn't gone to have his finger measured for his bloomin ring even though I've been telling him to do it for six bloomin months now. I've managed to make one of my flowergirl dresses and my daughter refuses to wear it because she says it "needs sparklies" She is 4 and believes that everything needs to have diamantes on! I have no idea what music we'll be having for the ceremony, or for the reception even. And my first practice attempt at my cake failed miserably. Oh and I don't actually know if the person who has agreed to do my photography will actually be able to make it...... And I've only had 2 RSVPs out of 28.

Wow, glad I got that out, feel a bit more normal now.

He said he'll go this weekend. He doensn't get much time at the weekends anyway because he has to work Saturdays. I know I'll get it all sorted. And really with the RSVPs I figure it doesn't matter all too much as my reception is a flat fee whether 3 people turn up or all 30, I'm just being pernickety. And the "sparklies" for my flowergirl dresses arrived this morning and I've spent an hour ironing them on which is another thing sorted. Just got to the three months to go mark the other day and started to panic like a mad woman! Thanks for the reassurance, I think I needed it!

A.Bird2b, you're not the only one panicing! It's coming so fast now! I've spent so long wishing for it to hurry up and get here and now I want it all to slow down!!!

80 days for me now girls!

Well getting ready at mine with my MOH, 2 daughters and 2 pageboys. Got a spacious downstairs toilet with mirror etc. as well as the bathroom so not going to bother with a rota!

Still waiting for 11 people to RSVP, which are only 5 households, so not done too bad out of 60 people.

Sending out evening invites at the end of the month, printed out all the inserts and realised I hadn't put a time or RSVP date on, what an idiot!

Trying to order my gifts at the moment, unfortunately the seeler is a busy guy and every time I send him a message it takes about a day to get an answer.

My MOH has got her shoes now and I've nearly finished her dress. And all my ribbons etc. have finally arrived so I can get on with the order of service covers, doing them in the evening while I chill in front of a film lol.

Still haven't got myself any shoes yet, but if the worst happens I'll wear my trainers, lol, well they're comfy!!!!

Oh and still waiting to hear back from the seamstress, phoned her thurs and she was going to try and get some material over the weekend, so slightly panicking but still got 11.5 weeks so she's got enough time, just don't want to be picking up the dress the day before :( xx

Well taking the dress to her tomorrow!

omg no bridalmiss i bet it looked nice u got pics? i cnt wait to have mine done, but i did my makeup lovely for my Hen party saturday just gone and the girls who organised it for me also did a surprise photo shoot was so much fun and really enjoyed myself :) and when he showed us some images on the camera my make up looked great so i may cancel and the £50 iv given her ask for a pamper night instead what do u think? iv just cancelled my videographer as i cant afford him but my uncle is doing it so thought the deposit i paid i asked him if he can edit the homemade video fingers crossed he says yes. But doing this saves me £500 and makes paying for the small things affordable xxxx

Oh dear, don't forget that it will not be as strong a colour if the pictures are taken outside in the sun! x

Had my make-up trial the other week, not sure if she made me too dark or not - pics in my album and comments/suggestions are welcome!!! I'm really pale naturally so don't want to look weird (dark face 'cos of make-up and then pale body/arms!?!!!

Got my hair trial this friday - don't know exactly what I want so hopefully the hairdresser will have some good ideas - thinking just loose and curly, I don't want to look completely different to how I do normally and I've been growing my hair since august so hopefully it's long enough now to curl nicely and not bounce up above my shoulders!

Had the pre-wedding photos back and the makeup looks fine - she put on darker eyeshadow afterwards for the photos so it won't be this dark on the day, and the coverage and blusher looks fine and not like a Thai bride I don't think so phew! I know how you feel clbronze, I feel like I've gotten nothing done in the past few weeks. I've almost finished one of my flowergirl dresses but I've decided I don't like the arrangement of crystals I've put on the bodice, so I'm going to take them all off and redo. Then I've got to make the other dress. H2b has STILL not gotten his finger measured for a ring (though he has been pretty ill so I'll let him off with that).
On the plus side, I did pay for the ceremony this week and it turned out it was about £50 less than I'd originally been told which is always good.
I'm trying not to panic, it will all be fab!

Yes mixed emotions - one minute a rush of excitement and the next nervous as hell! But can't wait either way :) x

I'm the same, excitement one day fear the next! I'm loving the planning so much that it now feels like it's coming too fast! I've spent the last 18 months wishing it would hurry up and get here and now all i want it to do is slow down lol

Oh gosh clare i am the complete opposite - i was very organised but i am doing quite a lot still and it is all coming round very fast i wish i had a couple extra weeks to chase guests and get things done. Have to pay the venue instalments off soon and that is a scary figure eeek!!!
