Ooh lovely! I got my paper windmills yesterday too which are going to be my favours as well as cupcakes :-)

with the stick they're probably about 20cm long and the windmill is 5.5cm by 5.5cm - they're supposed to be for flowerpots but I thought they were so cute I'm putting them on the tables for guests to play with instead! Only £3.99 for a pack of 16 too!

I got them from the party pieces website, but if you google mini windmill then lots of suppliers come up :-)

I am sick to the death of making invitation sleeves - i got my inserts printed and am making the covers for them but i am peeved at cutting out fiddly bits and trying to find pink glitter vellum paper :( lol xxx

I'm a June bride, hi everyone!

It's dragging isn't it?

Is everyone done now with their planning or still got a bit to do yet?

I've got most things sorted now, just flowergirl outfits to sort but think I'll leave that till about March time as I don't know how fast the girls will grow - they'll be 4.5 by the time of the wedding!

Just got my second pair of shoes for the wedding today, only 1 inch heels so they're for when my feet decide that 3.7 inches is enough for the day - super comfy so really excited! Invites we're picking up end of the month, sending them out by Christmas, guys getting measured for suits etc in January and Feb it's the marriage prep day at the church then my dress arrives end Feb! March we're getting our wedding rings from the Jewellery Quarter and April I suppose it's time to organise hair and makeup trials - then May will no doubt be a blur and before we know it it'll be June! Woohoo!!!

So yes, I agree that with most things planned it seems like there's not too much left to do, but I still feel like the time is running away with me and once we hit 2012 there's no going back as the wedding is practically imminent! Eek!!

Im sooo scared Ive hardly done anything yet and time is going soooo quickly! :( xx

We're sending out invites out the 2nd week in January so they don't get lost in Christmas post or lost amongst people's Christmas excitement. Rather they arrived after Christmas has long gone! lol

haha, everyone in my family are getting Christmas cards this year and no presents!!

Oh no, does he have to go away for it? I get days of panic/stress and days of calm haha. It will all come together in the end and be a really good day so try not to stress over it. Its harder than its sounds tho isnt it?! x

Got my invites at the weekend, and they look pretty good! Very thankful for my brother's advice as when I said I wanted a double opening door invite with paper inserts stuck to the card with the text, he basically flat refused and said it had to be a single fold as I'd regret it when I had to make them all up! So we stuck all our info etc on the inside and now they're here, literally all we have to do is write them out, spray with a dusting of gold glitter spray and they're ready! Already handed out 6 over the weekend!

We also sorted out our photographer at the weekend too, so all there's left to do is order my veil, collect my borrowed tiara from my friend and lose weight before the dress arrives end Feb! Woohoo!

I have to if I am going to make sure guests travelling long distance are going to make it and to ensure I get payment for rooms and the coach I have booked for locals coming to make it cheaper than a taxi!

Can't organise that unless I have 6 months notice cuz venue needs all the money by May!!!! x

I got my pre-folded packs of cards yesterday and have finally come up with a design :) so will be cracking on with those over my 2 weeks off starting from next week. We are seeing the vicar tomorrow night :) and we have put down the deposit for the suits. ooo and we bought the mirror that will be our table plan.
its all coming together, but still a way to go yet. xx

Invites sent out, last bridesmaid coming over to try on her dress tomorrow. Just need to start collating RSVPs and sorting out payments then i'm all good to go!!!!

Stuff ordered finally. So hopefully will be well into it by next weekend and they should be ready to go out by the end of the month. No idea what to put inside as yet so if any of you ladies could share any ideas i would be very grateful! x
