Hello! We're not getting married until September 2016, so plenty of time.
We want to serve some nibbles to our guests during the drinks reception, as we know how hungry people get and all the "I wonder what time we're eating" comments. We would like something different to canapes though. We don't want ice cream, as we want a savoury option. I have emailed a company who has a crepe van (an old vintage renault mail van) which suits our barn venue, and I like the idea of sweet and savoury crepes.
Are there any other companies out there that do similar foods, as an alternative to canapes? All I have found is ice cream vans and this one crepe van.
Our wedding is in Staffordshire, if that helps.
Thanks in advance,
Julie xx

What about minature fish and chips, in a tiny cone, get about 4 chips and a very small bit of fish?? Or minature burgers, that way you could possibly get them vegetarian as well.

I like GF's suggestions. Just don't forget those with allergies! I love the sound of crepes but I couldn't eat them because I can't have any milk products and crepes have milk in them. Anyone with a gluten intolerance couldn't have them either.

Had our dream perfect honeymoon in Hawaii!
Personally I'd love a doughnut machine and hot dog machine at mine ^_^

At a friends wedding they had bowls of those vegetable crisps and things like cheese straws to keep people going before the meal. They did a crepe bar in the evening which was awesome and worked really well to give everyone a choice of sweet or savory. You might need tables and chairs set up though as they can be a little messy if you choose the melted chocolate! X

I'd love to do something! Wedding is at 12:30 and food is 4:30 so people would have last eaten at breakfast???
But I don't think my venue will allow me to do my own canapés of some sort to hand out during drinks :( the canapés they offer I don't like the sound of and are £2.50 per head!!!
