We truly could not have picked a better florist. She was brilliant. She patiently worked with us through the various changes we had to make to our wedding because of covid, ensuring we were able to keep to budget throughout. On the day, everything arrived in very good time and flowers were transported to our reception venue seamlessly. After the event, I had so many of our friends and family commenting on how impressed they were with Gemma's efficiency on the day in setting up and taking down all the flowers, as well as (of course) how beautiful they all were! She really nailed our vision, and did so wonderfully. If you have an event coming up, Gemma is the florist for you.

Where to start in trying to describe just how amazing our wedding flowers were. Gemma just totally got our vision for the day and my style and made the planning seem so effortless especially as our arrangements changed at the last minute due to covid restrictions. Gemma is such a talented florist. She flowered our elopement in 2021 when we got married during COVID and then worked her magic again in 2022 at the same venue when we had a wedding party. Gemma was so wonderful to work with for our East London wedding. Through just a handful of phone consultations and emails, Gemma immediately understood our vision and continued to work very independently, which was a huge relief because we were so busy dealing with all the other wedding suppliers. On the day of, we were blown away by the floral display - from the actual array of plants she chose to the vases she placed them in, everything looked exactly liked we had dreamed of and more. We were and still are over the moon with the incredible florals Femme Petale created for our wedding. From start to finish, working with Gemma was a pleasure – she was professional, creative and full of ideas. She somehow took my very abstract 'brief' and gave me back exactly what I had been hoping for, and put in a lot of work to make it happen – she was the first supplier I saw the morning of our wedding and the last one I saw that night.

I lost count of how many compliments we got – so many people told me they were the best wedding flowers they had ever seen. I don't think I will ever want to stop staring at the photos of them. Walking in to see our pink cloud of gypsophila at the altar was the most magical experience and everything, from the pew ends (and I loved seeing these reused again on the top table chairs, what a great idea) to the bud vases and bouquets, was just absolutely perfect.

I know people think wedding flowers are expensive, and it's true they are, but every single penny was worth it and we would spend it all again. Thank you Gemma!

They were so beautiful, we loved the colour palette, mix of textures and shapes. You really nailed our vision so thank you! Lots of guests commented on how great they looked too and my bridesmaids all loved their bouquets (as did I!). They've all dried out really well too. I also love how you went the extra mile to source the jasmine (from your neighbour's plant!).


You were so easy to work with throughout the process, we had just the right amount of contact and at the right times. You listened to all of our feedback and ideas and altered the proposal where needed / gave us your honest and professional thoughts which we really appreciated. It was really refreshing to be able to share our initial ideas and then just leave you to execute, I think the flowers required the least hand holding of all the wedding planning!
