On behalf of everyone at York House, we would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you both on your forthcoming wedding.

A Picture Perfect Venue York House is a fine 17th century building, with a fascinating history, set in beautiful grounds on the banks of the River Thames. We provide a truly unique wedding venue offering couples something old and something new for their special day.

York House is famous for its beautiful gardens located at the back of the house. Many features of the grounds remain from Sir Ratan Tata’s previous ownership in the late 19th Century including the sunken lawn, marble statues and the restored Japanese gardens. These all provide an elegant background for photographs which lead down to the riverside. Exclusive access to the gardens is not guaranteed as they are public.

Options available at York House York House is steeped in history and is adorned with many portraits and canvases, providing a perfect setting for a truly memorable wedding. We offer a choice of beautifully unique spaces to suit your wedding day wishes.

With the variety of rooms available, we can offer a ceremony, drinks reception or evening reception all within our unique venue giving you the flexibility of choosing to celebrate part of, or all of your day with us.

You are welcome to have your wedding with us at York House on a Friday afternoon, Saturday or Sunday. It may be possible to book your wedding during the week pending the availability of our rooms. Please ask a member of staff from the Hall Lettings Team for availability.

With a list of experienced caterers who have worked at York House and are familiar with our venue or the option of choosing your own caterer the possibilities are endless.

Located in the centre of Twickenham the House is easy to get to being only a 5-minute walk from Twickenham Train station & multiple other travel links nearby. When booking the halls, you have access to 6 car parking spots directly in front of the house. There is a car park outside the venue which allows 30 spaces but unfortunately parking is not guaranteed there. Furthermore, Aragon road car park is a couple of minutes from the venue and hosts 437 car parking spaces – This car park does close at midnight please note. There is a hotel by Twickenham station and if you travel further into Richmond, there will be a wealth of hotels to access.
