Hi, I’m Matthew – and firstly, congratulations on your engagement!

If you’re here, you’re probably in the middle of planning one of the biggest (and most exciting!) days of your lives. I know how much thought goes into every decision, and I genuinely believe your bar should be more than just somewhere guests grab a drink — it should be part of the atmosphere, the experience, and the memories.

That’s exactly why I started From The Hatch.

What began as an idea to create something a little different has grown into a business I’m incredibly proud of. At the heart of it is our beautifully converted vintage horsebox bar. It’s full of character, rustic charm and style — and it always draws attention for all the right reasons. Guests love it, photographers love it, and couples love how it adds something unique to their day.

But for me, it’s about far more than how it looks.

From The Hatch is built around great service, great drinks and making sure everything runs seamlessly so you can relax and enjoy your wedding. My team and I are professional, friendly and approachable — we know when to keep things calm and elegant, and when to help bring the party to life in the evening!

Every wedding is completely different, and that’s why we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether you’re planning a rustic barn celebration, a marquee in a family garden, or a countryside venue reception, we tailor our bar setup and drinks packages around you.

Want a signature cocktail named after your dog? Absolutely.

We offer flexible packages, from cash bars to prepaid packages or a combination of both. We can serve prosecco, premium spirits, wines, bottled beers, cocktails and more — all presented beautifully and served with a smile.

One thing couples often tell me is how much they appreciate knowing everything is taken care of. We handle the setup, stock, glassware, licensing requirements and pack down. On the day itself, we arrive in plenty of time, get everything looking perfect, and make sure the bar runs smoothly from first toast to last orders.

Your wedding day goes by so quickly. My job is to make sure the bar is one thing you never have to worry about.

I genuinely love meeting couples, hearing about how you met, what you’re planning, and what kind of atmosphere you want to create. Whether you’re going for relaxed and rustic, elegant and stylish, or full-on party mode, we’ll help bring that vision together.

At the end of the day, From The Hatch isn’t just about serving drinks — it’s about helping create moments. The cheers during the speeches. The clink of glasses at sunset. The cocktails flowing while the dance floor fills up.

We also offer an entertainment package, which includes a 9-hole mini golf course and a games table package. This features our new darts setup as well as a retro arcade machine, providing additional fun and interactive elements for guests!
