The Renaissance at Kelham Hall

So far with the planning process, Rachel has been an amazing wedding co-ordinator and helped us with anything we’ve struggled with! When looking round the venue, I’d had my heart set on it for years but actually being there in person, was very dream like and I can’t wait for the big day!

The staff are so friendly and they’re willing to help you with any problem you have. I felt like a princess having my wedding at this venue, the whole day and the architecture is breath taking. I will definitely be visiting the venue again in in the near future for a different event.

We used Kelham Hall for our wedding reception in December 2023. We could not be more thrilled.

The venue looks so amazing i was speechless when i first saw it and i am so excited to get married here next year!

We found our perfect venue which we showed my father in law, he sadly passed away 2 weeks after we showed him. To have him be part of us making the venue decision couldn’t have been more perfect

We didn’t expect to fall in love with the venue quite as much as we did.

As soon as we walked through the venue’s doors, we were blown away by the vast amount of character and charm to the building.

We were met by wedding coordinator Kim Larking who we really warmed to straight away. She was fantastic with our two children, took great interest in us as a couple, and really showcased her experience and expertise without at any point overtly selling to us.

The venue itself has so much history and there is a story to tell about many of the rooms. The showstopper has to be the great hall, which is incredibly big.

We’re expecting around 250 guests and compared to other venues, there is no limit on space.

Our biggest importance for our day is the food offering. It was really important for us to be able to offer Jamaican and Indian food for the evening buffet. Recognising the importance, Kim arranged a tasting of our selected dishes, before we’d even secured the venue. We were so impressed during the tasting, and really valued how much pride head chef Dan takes in his creations.

We’re really excited to be planning our day at The Renaissance at Kelham, and absolutely feel like we are in safe hands with Kim.

So…my wedding, well it took me a while but I managed to find this place and this was THE place for my perfect wedding. I've always dreamed of my wedding to be special and by sure it was. I spoke to someone called Kim for an initial viewing and it was love at first sight the place is so big and very spacious. There's so much history there that it builds such a character to the place. To be completely honest the place is bare as in empty however, I believe it to be a positive as it means you can let your imagination take you wherever you want to go and be as creative with every detail for your dream wedding like mine. To décor layouts to a vast variety of any types of amenities, you’d like to introduce. One key point is the whole way through I didn’t feel the stress of my wedding because Kim made sure that it was my last priority. Our events manager Kim made sure all our organisers felt comfortable and confident the whole way through. I would highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for their dream wedding.

We both fell in love with Kelham Hall and the rooms Chloe had shown us round, it is everything & more we have wanted to celebrate our Wedding in. The grounds are equally as beautiful and are hoping the weather on the day allows our guests and us to enjoy it more so.
Chloe has been fantastic! She has spared no details and answers any of our questions very swiftly and always provides the necessary information & speaks over the phone when required to explain in better detail which is much appreciated.
Natalie & I are both very happy that Chloe is looking after us for our Wedding reception and can't wait for the big day! We look forward to dealing with Chloe & yourselves in the future to make it the perfect day.
