If you're looking at a celebrant wedding, you probably already know the freedom that this gives you. Get the legal papers out of the way, and you can really start to get creative! I'm very open minded about ceremonies and am happy to try something new (I'm thinking a hot air balloon over Old Trafford during a Saturday game!) Ha Ha! After an initial video call, I like to meet couples in person to really get to know them. Then I go and write the script, with unlimited revisions until you are both completely happy! On the wedding day, I'll be there early to help with the setup, then I'll deliver your ceremony exactly as we planned!

Meet the Key Person
I often get asked why I became a celebrant. I guess there are a few factors, including turning 40 and starting a family. I was a high school teacher for 10 years, then I was a touring musician, now I'm a trained couples and naming ceremony celebrant. ?It's been a funny old journey! At my own wedding 8 years ago, we hired a registrar, and we were lucky as the lady who led our ceremony was lovely. We only met her on the day of our wedding though, so I think if we'd known about it at the time, we'd have definitely searched for the right celebrant for us As well as being a celebrant, I've worked as a touring musician for the last 12 years. As a musician, I've played at a fair few weddings and celebrations over the years. In fact, our band has travelled all over the world doing that. If you were thinking of having live music as part of your ceremony, this is definitely something I'd be comfortable to incorporate. You could have me playing guitar and singing, or I could recommend another musician for your to use (I know many suitable people working professionally in this industry). As a celebrant, I love getting to know a couples' story. Then the fun part starts, when I get to turn that story into a script. I'm very open minded; same sex, opposite sex and gender fluid couples are all welcome. I just want to get to know your story, and tell it to all the people you love. I love my job.
