The building...

We are Tilly and Ruaridh ('Rory' in Scottish)and we founded and built The Copper Top HorseBox with our own fair hands! Everything you see was done by the two of us, from design to finish and we're very proud of what we have achieved. The final result is something a bit quirky and will get your guests talking.

We're not DIY gurus and converting an old horse box into what you see now was a lot harder than serving drinks behind it!

We also have a beautifully converted teadrop Prosecco Van, from which we can serve both fizz and lager/ale- this cute addition to your wedding is the perfect way to serve your guests a welcome drink!

Our Experience

Together, we have well over 10 years experience working in cocktail bars and restaurants across the UK, France and Switzerland and we want to share some of that with you. We'll be a friendly and professional team to help you from beginning to end. We're all about personalisation and we will do our very best to make sure our drinks menu and approach is unique to you and your event.

We promise to give you an honest price for a bar that's a bit different and will make your party, event or wedding stand out. We're flexible with packages and rates so just let us know what you're hoping for and we'll see what we can do!

Sustainability

We know that events is one of the most wasteful industries going and we're determined and passionate about making sure that our bar has as little an impact on the environment as possible, from our fully biodegradeable straws to the recycled materials we used to build our bar! Sustainability is one of our top priorities, alongside providing top class service!

Originally an old Rice horse trailer, the horsebox was found and restored by us, Tilly and Ruaridh ('Rory' in Scottish) with our own fair hands! Everything you see was done by the two of us, from design to finish and we're very proud of our achievement! We can serve bubbly and beer/ale from our teardrop Prosecco Van as well as prosecco cocktails- the perfect way to serve your guests a welcome drink! ogether, we have well over 10 years experience working in cocktail bars and restaurants across the UK, France and Switzerland and we want to share some of that with you. No couple is 'standard' so why should your bar be?? We serve local beers, ales and or Tilly is a professional ecologist and as such, we try to keep our bars as eco friendly as possible, from paper straws and reusable cups, to the materials our horsebox was made with! We promise to give you an honest price for a bar that's a bit different and will make your wedding stand out.
