Whinstone View

Whinstone View was absolutely amazing, we cannot thank them enough. We had the best wedding we could’ve ever imagined and we are so glad we picked Whinstone for it. From the food to the staff, everything is honestly amazing. Thank you guys so much for helping make our day special.

We got married at Whinstone View in July this year, we honestly can’t thank the staff enough! They were super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our day was everything we ever wanted. Everyone said how beautiful the venue is and the food was out of this world! If we could redo this day over and over again we would and we wouldn’t change anything.

Whinstone was the first venue we went to view and as soon as we met with the team and walked into the barn, we knew that it was the venue for us. It gave the warmest, coziest feeling, yet still so romantic. After over 2 years of waiting our day finally arrived...as did Storm Babet! However, I would not have changed the weather and The Wray Barn meant everyone was together for the entire day. From the 2 years of planning to us arriving the day before our wedding, the whole team went above and beyond in making our day truly the best day of our lives. Nothing was ever too much trouble.

The food was incredible, the bar staff did not stop smiling and dancing, and the staff in the Bistro the evening before and for breakfast the day after could not have done a better job, especially in getting our preorder spot on. Our wedding guests still talk about their gigantic trio of desserts and the delicious supper bowls!

Mandy was a superstar in arranging the beautiful lodges for our wedding party and our guests and we are already planning a return stay for our anniversary! A

nd finally, to Lucy and Jessie...you girls are simply the best. We will never be able to thank you enough for giving us the most perfect wedding day. It really is no surprise you have been crowned Teesside’s best wedding venue! Our wedding may have been and gone but this is just the start of our visits to such a wonderful place.

From initial contact to the morning after our wedding, the wedding team at Whinstone View was exceptional. We booked to view the venue where the team answered all our questions. At each stage of the process they were there to help, nothing was too much.

We checked into the lovely lodges the day before the wedding and Lucy was on hand to answer last-minute questions and put us at ease. She was back over to the lodges on the morning of the wedding to keep us up to date with how things were running and showed me some photographs of the barn (which put me at ease - Lucy and Jess had managed to pull all of our ideas together to make the barn look exceptional).

The whole day went so smoothly and we had the most fantastic day! I would recommend Whinstone View as a venue to anybody! The venue itself was fantastic and we have received so many compliments from our guests and vendors. The setting is beautiful, with high ceilings, beams, soft lighting, and plenty of outdoor space. We had the best day!

Whinstone have been amazing start to finish in sorting out perfect day and are very efficient and speedy with responses to any queries we have! A special thank you to Dawn for making our wedding day possible on a Bank holiday after our initial wedding booking at a different venue was cancelled. Cannot wait for the big day!

So far all out contact with the venue has ran so smoothly, Dawn our coordinator has been very responsive to the many questions I have. From our first viewing we knew it was the venue for as it has sentimental meaning as our first ever night away together

This was the perfect venue for us. With the whole wedding taking place here from overnight stay, ceremony to party. The staff went above and beyond and the food was amazing. We were given recommendations on suppliers who knew the venue and the day was made as stress free as possible. Beautiful grounds for photos

We were welcomed and truely experienced a great coordinator Dawn to ensure we were happy with the package and were able to go back and see this beautiful venue set up for a real wedding! Nothing was too much to ask and always there at the end of the email for any support and we cannot wait to be married here and celebrate with all of our family and friends! Roll on 2024... x

Dawn has been amazing throughout our wedding planning and has gone above and beyond to help every time we have had to postpone due to covid and family living abroad…we can’t wait to finally have our special day!
