Time keeping. This is so important to ensure you’ve made time to do all those lovely little personal touches and details that you wanted to include.

My journey in this wonderful industry began six years ago as I accepted the role as 'Wedding Coordinator' for a beautiful Northumberland venue, and essentially learned my trade. Since then I have gone on to work within some of the most incredible venues in our region be they countryside, coastal and of course... City Centre. Following my years as a coordinator of weddings, I was utterly flattered and super keen to accept the title of 'Head of Weddings' for such an iconic venue in Newcastle City. The Vermont Hotel has absolutely everything to offer. It has such style, history, features that no other venue in the city can compare with. I am extremely lucky to work where I do. I adore my job day in, day out. There's nothing quite like it. Everyone I deal with is so positive and passionate about their own work - it inspires me to be the same and better wherever possible. The wedding world is growing all the time which makes life so exciting in this industry and why after six years, nothing gets old or boring (hopefully I can include myself in such a statement!) Weddings are so personal these days and very much about a couple's tastes, style and personality which is why I love it so much. You really get to meet people and see their dreams literally come true. If you love your job, they say you'll never 'work' a day in your life. Just call me a 9-5 lady of leisure then!
