We're a wonderful and unique venue located in the heart of Portsmouth’s Naval Heritage area and we have a number of spaces to host wedding receptions and wedding ceremonies to make your day unique and memorable.

We have a designated wedding planner, who can help provide you with advice, suggestions and support to tailor your special day to your exact requirements, ensuring you have a day to remember. You can choose our ‘Ultimate Wedding package’ or we can individually tailor your wedding to your own needs and tastes, offering exceptional value for money.

Licenced for ceremonies you can host your whole day under one roof. We have two more formal rooms, the Trafalgar Ballroom designed for 80 –250 guests or the Nelson Lounge that can accommodate between 40 to 100 guests, or if you’d like a more informal option requiring an evening party reception we have our unique ‘Below Decks’ room that can accommodate 100 guests.

The Royal Maritime Club & Hotel has a multitude of wonderful features like our Compass area for your photographs to our classic bridal suites for you to relax in at the end of your special day. Your guests can also stay in one of our 90 bedrooms and use the pool and leisure facilities during their stay.
