I would like to take this opportunity of giving you our sincere thanks for the success of our special day. From our initial meeting over 1 year ago you have demonstrated the professionalism that gave us the confidence that our big day was going to be a success. We were correct in that assumption. Everything from the initial meet and greet, table decoration, food, and waiter service all went like clockwork. Everyone who attended our big day were unanimous in their praise for the venue and all the staff that contributed to the day. Please give our thanks to all your colleagues for all their hard work.

We held our wedding celebration here in July 2023. Karen and her team were excellent. They were extremely helpful throughout the planning leading up to the event, and couldn't have been more helpful on the day itself. Nothing was too much trouble. The Elgar suite provided an ideal location. It was a good layout with a sperate bar and toilets for our guests. The hot buffet provided was delicious. Our thanks go to the chef. I can not commend them all too highly. Thank you Karen, and the all the team.

From start to finish Karen the wedding co-ordinator could not of been more helpful!
We didn’t know where to start, Karen advised us and gave us plenty options and really helped to plan our day!
Karen was so flexible, nothing was too much trouble at all! We chopped and changed things to how we wanted the wedding to go.
Karen was so supportive throughout the whole process, we felt like everything fell into place.
Karen made sure the room looked amazing and guided all of the guests to the right place.
I would definitely recommend any one planning to have a wedding to come and talk to Karen. She is so so helpful!

We recently booked this hotel for our small (16 people) wedding on Friday 22nd Oct.
Wedding organiser: Karen is absolutely on top of her game and put us at ease right from our first meeting. She was answering our questions before we had asked them and then gave answers to questions we hadn't even thought of! We were so happy with the day, everything ran like clockwork with Karen forever present, pulling all of the strings but in a way whereby some people didn't even know she was there - believe me, she was! My father-in-law was in a wheelchair that day and was tended to in such a caring way that we couldn't have asked for anything else.
Meal: Very good and hot, served efficiently.
Staff: Very helpful, attentive and friendly although sometimes short in numbers around the bar area for example (see below).
Our room: Spacious, clean and comfortable with need for a little TLC.
Other facilities: We didn't use the Spa/Gym so cannot comment but it appeared to be quite busy with happy customers. Parking is definitely free for guests.
Decor around the hotel is, in places, a little tired but not displeasing or dirty.
This hotel deserves a chance as it is surely like a lot of hotels at the moment and slowly getting back on it's feet after what have been unprecedented times.

From our initial viewing of the hotel and the meeting with Karen, nothing was too much trouble
having had to cancel at short notice due to covid last year
you were so understanding through this difficult time and made our wedding day the day we dreamt of
the room was set out exactly as we discussed and was consulted at every stage if any changes were need to be made
all the waiting/staff bar staff and everyone involved on the day were very professional and curtious
the food for our reception and evening event was perfect and everyone commented how nice it was
with alot of the guests staying over night the rooms met everyones needs
for us the whole day was perfect and would recommend to anyone looking at getting married at this venue

My son got married here on 07/05/2022 , Karen the wedding coordinator was amazing , she guided us throughout the whole experience from our 1st visit through to the day itself , nothing was too much trouble.
The room was dressed to such a high standard
The food was lovely
Disco went on until 01:00 hrs
We loved the fact that the wedding venue is away from the main part of the hotel , there is also it's own bar
I could not fault the venue , the staff were all excellent
We all had such an amazing day , many wonderful memories were made
thank you Karen for making this happen , you are a credit to the hotel, I highly recommend this venue for a wedding .

We had our wedding here 07/05/2022 it was such a magical day. Couldn't have been happier with our experience. Karen did a fantastic job with all the planning. And she did everything possible to make sure the day went smoothly. We can't thank her enough. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking of this venue.
