Pratis Barns

My partner and I went to view Pratis after it was recommended by a colleague who had their wedding there.
When we viewed the venue we fell in love and knew it would be the perfect venue

Pratis Barns was everything we hoped for and more in a wedding venue. We had a disaster when our first venue went bust with just over a year to go and Louise at Pratis fitted us in immediately to come and look round and we were overjoyed at how amazing it was (and so much nicer than our first venue!).

Louise and Nicola were so kind and understanding of our situation and worked everything out so that the payment plans suited us despite the shorter timeline.

Everyone at Pratis was friendly and responsive and didn't make any question seem too silly or any ask feel like too much. Decorating was a breeze with the wonder room and all of the treasures it held!

We had a large number of guests and everyone was catered for perfectly by Patrick with incredible food. They even laid out our many many Colin the caterpillars in a brilliant way for our cake cutting.

We had the most wonderful day and I would push anyone and everyone to get married here - I'm already hoping friends pick this venue so we can go back as guests!

We got married at Pratis in January and it was amazing. Louise was fantastic through out, always on hand to answer any questions.

For setting up, the wonder room is brilliant, has almost everything you need to make the place special all free of charge.

Patrick and his team produced phenomenal food, from steaks for the main course to the fish and chips at night that everyone said were amazing.

Couldn’t have asked for better and couldn’t recommend highly enough. Massive thank you to the whole team.

My now husband and I had the pleasure of getting married in the beautiful Pratis Barns back in October, on none other than halloween!

The whole process was brilliant from start to finish, we had so much free reign with how we wanted our wedding to be, this was a big selling point to us when choosing our venue, we felt other venues we had looked at just didn't give us the same freedom.

They are extradorinary good value for money when you see all that is included with your venue, the grounds are absolutely stunning and with Pratis being the gorgeous big blank canvas that it is, your wedding can be tailored to suit exactly you and your spouse.

The lovely Nikola said that they have never seen two weddings the same, how special is it that one space can transform in so many different ways to bring to life the most special day of so many couples lives.

The wonderful Louise, we cannot sing her praises enough, our day would not have gone so smoothly had she not been there, she was a pleasure to work with, so incredibly helpful and so charasmatic, she is a true credit to Pratis. Bob also deserves a special mention for being a class guy! thanks Bob!

Pratis would not be the beauty it is without you. And thank you Patrick and team for keeping our bellies well fed and satisfied with the most delicious food.

We knew after our first visit to Pratis Barns that we wanted to get married there. Nicola, Patrick and their team were organised, flexible and relaxed which was exactly what we wanted. The venue offers so much including the most fantastic in-house catering team who created a menu that blew everyone away! The food was outstanding with every guest commenting and many asking where can we find Patrick to cook for us again!

Aside from the venue the addition of Pratis House was a real selling point, it's a very relaxing space and the glass box was the perfect setting for family meals, hair, make up, lots of laughs and story sharing.

Thank you for creating such a wonderful space, with the most fantastic team and food like we've never had at an event before!

From the moment we arrived at the venue, we knew this was ‘the one’.
Since booking our date, the communication was perfect. Throughout the planning process, all questions were answered, and our nerves put to rest. The flexibility offered to us meant we could really make the day our own.
Pratis Barns offers couples a ‘Wonder Room’ of props and decorations, which was great when it came to the day of setting up. We had access to a huge variety of things to add to the venue.
The fantastic team were on hand for our whole weekend and couldn’t have been more supportive. No task was too much, and we got a genuine feel of excitement and love from everyone over our day.
Patrick and his team produced food that was simply outstanding all day. The food was so good, that we wanted it all! Patrick catered to our every request; we were so grateful he knew how important food was to us. Weeks on and we are still receiving compliments.
Pratis House is simply stunning. It was the perfect place for us to spend the entirety of our wedding weekend, with our immediate families. We stayed for the whole weekend, meaning we could soak up every minute of time at the venue and make some truly wonderful memories.
Nicola and Patrick have created something incredibly special at Pratis Barns. We cannot wait to go back at every opportunity and reminisce over our perfect day.

We couldn’t have asked for a better day at Pratis for our wedding. The venue is stunning with such variety of different photo opportunities. The team are all so welcoming and helpful throughout the planning process and setting up for the day. Louise did a fantastic job coordinating on the day, giving amazing guidance, advice and just in general being the calm and bubbly person you need through it all. Our day ran smoothly and everyone loved the food thanks to Patrick and his team.
